Voted for 4-inch myself.

I really appreciate being able to use a phone one handed and having my thumb able to reach everywhere on the screen without doing any hand gymnastics or a band-aid solution like reachability.

Lots of bezel talk. I'd also love to see the 4.7" screen with less bezel. It would be amazing to see Apple integrate the TouchID into the screen as well, though the physical home button doesn't really bother me much.
I like a home button not a big fan of phones with no physical home button. The bezel size on iPhones is very annoying

My ideal would be the 6S width, but with the top and bottom bezels greatly reduced and by getting rid of the physical home button.

A 5.5" phone, but in the body of a Note5, G4, and other slim Android phones. Not the bezel-monstrosity that is the 6s Plus.

4.7 is too small for my hands. 4.0 was fine.

But I don't want a cheap phone with a previous-generation chip, either.

I voted 5.5. My first thought was something between 4.7 and 5.5 would probably be "perfect", but if I'm honest with myself, one handed use went out the door with my trusty 5s. I never felt like the 6 I had briefly last year was truly a one-handed device, so why not go big. 5.5 it is!

I agree. I don't understand all the home button hate. I would love more screen real estate, but not at the expense of the home button, unless Apple comes up with a solution that is universally considered better.

One comment to the ones who like having a screen where they can reach to all corners with just their thumb and not requiring hand gymnastics or using reachability

On Android a lot of your touching will happen on the lower half of the screen since the software buttons are on the bottom. On iOS, the lack of a dedicated/global "back button" means it has to be built into the page view and its always the top left hand corner. The top right hand corner often has useful features too such as new Message etc. And remember that the keyboard is on the bottom of the screen so you'll find that your touch map is constantly moving between the bottom and top of your screen. This really hurts one hand usage IMO

I like the 5.5 size which is kind of strange for I have small hands, but I like have a biggest screen possible that isn't a tablet. Though I don't think I would like to go to much larger than 5.5

This is a really good point, I never really considered that, but after some reflection, its exactly whats wrong with a 4.7" iphone. I returned my 6S to go back to my 5S, not sure if I should just wait out another year or what...

I love the screen size on the iPhone 6s Plus, but I think they need to trim down the bezels! if I compare the Note 5 to the iPhone 6s Plus, the Note 5 feels way better in my hand! I went with the iPhone 6s this year and hopefully I'll go with iPhone 7 Plus next year :D

(For those of you who love the size of the iPhone 6s Plus, this is just my personal opinion, no reason to argue)

4.7 inch is my ideal for phone. I hope Apple won't make it any bigger in future but I have my doubts.

4.7" It's the best, it looks big on my hands and face hahaah, but I like to watch YouTube and play games with a big screen, not as big as the iPhone 6 Plus

I honestly thought the iPhone 5(s) was a perfect size. But I just used my coworkers iPhone 4 and man I love the size of that thing.

So it would be my first choice, then the 5 series. I want the new rumored 4 inch iPhone coming out but not at the expense of the specs on it. I couldn't downgrade from my 6s

Even though I loved the design of the 4, I think the 5 was pretty much perfect. I'm sure with todays battery technology they could make a phone that size and thickness last a full day, and I'd buy one tomorrow!

4 inch definitely, comfortable to use and to carry.

Perhaps you aren't considering that the 4 series was thicker with flat sides, so that may add to the comfort. In all likelihood, if Apple made another 4" device, it would be much thinner. I just don't think it would have the same feel.

5.5 with a reasonable bezel size (unlike the 6s Plus) til then I am gonna continue to use my 4.7 iPhone 6.

I actually go back to my old iPhone 5 sometimes while my 6 is charging and it's sooooo tiny. I can barely type on it anymore, the keyboard is so small. let alone 3.5 can't even imagine. it's funny how fast you get used to something
