The real question should be "which physical size".

I'd be fine with a 4.7" screen if they could slightly shrink the bezels/overall dimensions.

Bigger than 5.5". Anything smaller feels like a toy. I have a nexus 6 which physically is close to the size of an iphone but with much less bezel and a 5.9" screen. Feels great to me.

I would think it's more interesting that 1/4 of those polled (Granted it's a tiny poll in the grand scheme of things, but still) prefer a 4" iPhone size and Apple hasn't made one in 2 refreshes. That's a significant population that Apple is ignoring.
 
5.5" is the sweet spot for me. Perfect for media consumption. Ever since I got my 6S+ I haven't touched my iPad mini anymore (I'm sorry iPad mini for being a bad owner)

I love the size of the iPhone 6 Plus. I could never use anything smaller at this point. I have used a nexus 6 for awhile and it was on the borderline of too big. The 6 Plus is just big enough I can still use it one handed.
 
I'm using a Nexus 6 right now and I couldn't go back to anything smaller than 5.5". Having a 6" display is really nice for browsing, video watching, reading, and really everything else. 5.5" or larger is my preference!
 
It's a tough question. The 5.5" screen my iPhone 6+ has is to big. I think 5.0" is good but I'll probably do 4 or 4.7 for my next phone.
 
My eyes are now accustomed to the 5.5" screen. I could not go smaller, nor do I want to go bigger.

What I'm hoping for in future iPhone's is less bezel top and bottom (and thinner devices) which will allow me to carry a smaller and lighter device.

5.5" would be fine if they just shrunk the bezels like the LG G4. same size screen but the phone feels a lot smaller.

This is how I feel, also. When I first got the 6S+, it felt huge. Now, it is just normal and my 5 seems tiny. I could never go back.
 
The 4.7" is only slightly lacking for me. I think 5.0"-5.1" is a terrific screen size as long as the bezels are minimal.
