Launch day 14 Pro, 630 charge cycles and down to 79% battery (requires repair notification appeared) Actual percentage should be 75% using Battery Stats reading. Optimized charging is always on.
Still within Apple Care warranty. Went to Apple Store for battery replacement and even the specialist is surprised. No gaming on iPhone, just use official Magsafe for charging. Previous 12 mini had 92% battery with exactly same usage. 3 years Apple Watch 7 with daily charging still at 80% battery. 14 Pro has the ********* battery Apple has ever used. They changed 15's battery to 80% in 1000 charge cycles comparing with 500 for the 14.

Launch 14 Pro is at 85%

How do I see the amount of charge cycles? I googled but the steps noted in different articles don’t appear on my phone

Down to 83% battery health.

iPhone 14 Pro Max - 97% battery health [April 2023 - June 2024]

I replaced the iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB with iPhone 13 Pro 512GB [ProRAW and Dolby Vision 4K 60FPS]

My partner’s iPhone 14 Pro Max, purchased September 2022, is currently at 85%. She was mentioning that her phone does not seem to as long as it used to (not surprised).

Down to 83% on my 14 Pro bought on launch. It’s by far the worse one ive had yet lol. I always use wireless charging and Optimized Battery Charging has been on since day 1. I still have AC+ on it so im not worried and ill switch to a 16 Pro this september but still, I don’t think its normal for it to be this bad, I would have expected that number closer to 3 years of use tbh.

Compared to my 14+ which has excellent life; the 14 Pro Max has lousy battery life.

14+ recharges every other day.
14PM recharges every day.

Glad I am trading the 14PM in for the iPhone 16+ coming out this fall.

Launch day 14 PM at 88%. Was using optimize charging for about a year, but then realized it never got me to an actual 100% charge. I now just charge to 100% before bed and take it off the charger. Seems to last longer.

Strange, my 14PM is stuck at 100% - Beta iOS 18.
Could this be true or false ?

OTOH my 14+ is at 87% - definitely getting the 16+ when it comes out.

Maybe it’ll change, maybe not.

Mines on 86% now as a day 1 user.

I will use my applecare+ to change it before i upgrade to the 16PM by paying the £25 excess.

Anyone know how much it will cost if I want to replace a shattered back glass at the same time too?

will the two £25 stack or will it just be the singular excess fee?

Its one deductible, so one fee to cover everything that needs to be repaired

I received my iPhone 14 Pro in April of 2023. I used it somewhat lightly for a month or so because I was home recovering from surgery.
I'm at 93% today
