Hello all,

Today is the first day that my iPhone went out of silent mode (mohahaha) after unlocked on the 10th (btw GeoHot thanks) and of course, the ringtone is the default 'Marimba'. Not bad, but I'm just wondering what you guys use for your iPhones.

I've got the REALLY DEFAULT one seen on the Apple ads for the iphone (just riiiiiiiiiing) but that doesn't make the phone "stand out from the crowd".

I don't want to buy some cut-off music for $2 on iTunes (I've got garageband).

Do you ppl use music, standard tone, other 'rings', or downloaded funny ringtones?

I use the ringtone from the Cisco phones from the hit TV show "24". I do this simply because I love the way it sounds, its easily distinguishable, and yet more professional enough then having a song go off in your pocket in the middle of a meeting when someone calls you.

i use the song "no hardcore dancing in the living room" by the band chiodos

and vegeta-san i have to comment that is funny you say "hit tv show" i thought they only used that phrase in commercials

The Theme song for Doctor Who (Tenth Doctor version)

I love the look of bewilderment, followed by the look of fond memories as people place it.

Urgent form Foreigner when my wife calls and I'll be there for you by the Rembrandts for everyone else.

A co-worker suggested I use American Idiot by Green Day for when my boss calls but I didn't think it was appropriate.

My Custom tones to date are the following:

3s & 7s by Queens of the Stone Age,
Banquet by Bloc Party
Knights of Cydonia by Muse
Up Around the Bend by Creedence Clearwater Revival

It was "Plug In Baby" by Muse, but now I have Robot as my default sound. Gotta love that crazy robot.
