What's Your Ringtone

A stock ringtone for calls? :D hell no..

I change it from time to time and always use some song i have on my phone...

If you think about how "easy" and just "a couple of steps", is to use your own ringtone, you know why there are so many stock ringtones and usually the same default one playing next to you...

A ringtone is a "personal thing". And at the same time it is for distinguishing your phone from others.

@mrex: I hear you! When it comes to custom ringtone setting, it is Android where it can be done in two seconds w/o any hassle.
 
My default is the "The Game Is On" theme from the BBC television show Sherlock.

I also use several custom ringtones for specific people.

My default ringtone is the Seinfeld theme. Its been that for years, don't even bother changing them anymore.
 
What is your current ringtone and text tone?

I currently have some dbz tones but have been searching the tone section and not sure what to purchase. Just want to get an idea of what you guys are using.

My text tone since 2008. It comes from my old HTC Touch Pro. I like it, I ported it to my iPhone 5 and it's remained my text tone through that phone, my iPhone 6+ and now my 6s+

The ringtone for my wife. I've had this ringtone as the default also on my Touch Pro and ported it to my iPhone 5 and it's been the default on my 6+ and 6s+ until a few months ago. It's now just solely for my wife.

If you didn't know I had an iPhone you'd probably think I had an Android. I HATE that you can automatically know who has an iPhone in a crowd because no one bothers to ever change the damn ringtone!

Nice! Agreed that everyone and there mother have the stock marimba tone. Its amusing to watch everyone check their phone when one rings.

Anyways I also switched to tmobile back in september from sprint as you did. How do I get that tmobile tone? I assume i have to save it to my pc and somehow get it into itunes?

Well…here I converted it for you.

Right click and save the file (in the link below.) It's an MP4 file, but it has the iTunes ringtone extension so when you add it to iTunes it will go into the Tones area. Then just sync your phone.
