Oh wow how close was my dad to eating Grapefruits the other day.

I like to read random stuff, and be in the know. My dad was cutting grapefruit for himself. I was just sitting there bored, and picked up his Lipitor, and started to read the caution labels. I saw that it said no grapefruits, and was like "Hey dad whats special in grapefruits thats not in anything else" He responded with a "I don't know".

Then I saw that he was cutting it. I was like "NO DON'T EAT THAT!!!. It says here to not eat grapefruit with Lipitor"

I have a similar problem. My favourite fruits are oranges, but I can't eat those because it causes canker sores all over the inside of my cheeks. They make it very difficult for me to talk, eat, or even open my mouth.

I just never eat oranges now. I just look at others and get jealous.

If you are taking Lipitor, you should not:

Drink grapefruit juice
Eat grapefruit
Use grapefruit supplements.

Doing any of these things can increase the levels of medication in your blood. This can increase your chances of developing serious muscle problems (myopathy or rhabdomyolysis) that can lead to kidney failure and other life-threatening complications .

cheddar bunnies.

 What on earth are cheddar bunnies
Varies from week to week, I'm currently on Wagon Wheels but I was on Penguins a few weeks ago. When I was in the States I loved Tex Mix too. Oh and doughnuts :p

EDIT: This would make a great poll!

Wagon wheels were a favourite at school but I didn't even know they still made them , to those who think the wagon wheels are smaller , are you sure it's not you who have gotten bigger:D

In answer to the original question. Allsorts of nuts , dried fruit and occasionally chocolate or cereal, small amounts of curry or Asian snacks like bhaji's, samosas, kebabs, am trying to get into eating more raw veg these days but it is a difficult transition, I'll try most things once, I was a monster for fried chicken a while back but am trying more healthy options these days, really though there are no in-between meals in my house , we constantly graze.
EDit . Doogh which I discovered recently , if ever the word awesome applies it is to Doogh.

I looked up cheddar bunnies and they are basically rabbit shaped goldfish, but they are organic, non GMO, etc...

I love white cheddar Cheese-Its, pretzels, apples and other fruit, goldfish, and Ghirardelli chocolates (occasionally)

I saw someone with a Wagonwheel today :), but deffo not my first choice. I'd have to go with Pringles, Plain salted corn chips, mini or large cheddars, or Frazzles which totally own as they are bacon rashers in a crisp :D.

I'm not a huge fan of chocolate. I can't eat melon either, or cranberries for that matter as I am on transplant drugs, following a kidney transplant.

Honey-bbq Fritos, but any variety of Frito will do.

Salt & Vinegar potato chips are a close second, followed by Flamin' Hot Lime Cheetos.

...Or, to be honest, anything salty and crunchy.

Me too. I could do with some of this stuff posted here, right NOW! Anyone willing to give up their snacks so I can have some, please? :p

Arrghh! Fritos remindes me of dirty feet! Bleh!

Whatever floats your boat though.

I really enjoy doughnuts as well, but probably because I'm Canadian, and us Canadians consume a lot of doughnuts.

And Tim Horton's near my house has gotten way too much money out of me:).

In order of preference:

1) Pretzels
2) Carrots
3) Those wee little powdered doughnuts
4) Doritos, any flavour
5) Gold Fish

Sadly all I have are some cookies, and I really am not feeling down for something sweet.

Yogurt and granola
Gummy Bears
Also grapefruit but only the ruby red ones and then they take too long for me to eat because i have to take off ALL of the skin.

I had to give up raw carrots because I busted my space maintainer eating them.

I prefer a Japanese snack known as "mochi." In comes a variety of forms, but it's ultimately rice dough.

One of my favorite ways to eat it is as "daifuku," which is usually rice dough with a center of sweetened red bean paste.

My ultimate weakness.

But I also enjoy some good potato chips, and I'm a sucker for miniature brownies.

Though mostly, it's bananas and apples. Trying to stay from that other stuff.

EDIT: Also almost forgot: Otis Spunkmeyer Chocolate Chocolate Chip muffins. I go through five or six of these a day.
