When can I reserve for in store pick up at Apple Store?

I just reserve another silver 256 gb x at my local Apple Store for today pick up. You definitely can do that as long you do it fast since the supply might be limited.

You can buy online and reserve for store pick up today. I just did for another one.

No iup link this year as it appears. I just successfully reserve one.

Well it sounds like you can't just reserve now and pay in store though. Meaning you have to pay first then pick up. Unlike last year and the year before that were you could just reserve, pick a time, show up and pay it at the store when you pick it up.
 
I had to cancel my order, then I had a wait a few mins to place the new order for in store pickup. I paid in full so not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Got mine for pick up too on the app. Thank you.

If you are using the Apple upgrade every year plan, you have to pay taxes and fee of $176 for 256 X during online reservation process.

For me, I already have the iPhone X in silver. But I want it in Space Gray. I may just end up ordering one for pick up and then return this one.

I wonder if the one I buy but when I pick it up, return it as a unopened item and then do a straight exchange? I have 8 minutes left before it I can attempt.

Yes. I just check again and my configuration is out of stock already. If you want to pick up today, order now before it is gone.

Meh. Still requires carrier account validation. Sure enough, availability lit up in one of local stores but still no go without the actual VZW account. (want to use this @ Total Wireless). I guess I'll keep waiting.

Apparently Apple store near me doesn't have the Verizon 256 GB Space Gray when I checked right at 6 am. But there is one 1 hour 18 minute drive from me. Guess I'll have to keep checking.

Does it work with the apple app or need different link? Also can I do it with att next or better to pay in full then swap in store?

Just go on the Apple site and buy the phone as you normally would and after a couple screens, you'll have the option to select in store pickup, granted if the store you choose has inventory in stock.
 
When I go to check out on the app it shows delivery 3-4 weeks and below says pick up today at xxx. How does that work?
 
So when I get to the store as my designated time, I wont have to wait in the iPhone correct? Do I just tell the store person I have a reservation?

My phone has been lost by UPS - I saw this thread, jumped on the app and looked to have grabbed the last 64 SG at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta. Going at 12:30.
