This is only affecting the iPhone Pro Max.

No it doesn’t it’s affecting all models of the iphone 11 as the thread clearly states if you actually read it allThis is only affecting the iPhone Pro Max.
2 seems to work but sometimes it is useless since she can't hear me then once the echo is gone.Just to add I’m on 13.3.1 the latest beta, I have filed a bug report I advise you all to do the same, so far I have
1. Tried a different sim on a different network
2. Tried reducing volume on both phones
3. Tried the signal app call feature
4. Tried both standard cell and FaceTime audio calling , note it does not happen on video
5. Activating the mute button, this does cure the issue but obviously is not a solution
6. Making calls using my Apple Watch connected via Bluetooth, this also had no echo.
hope this helps
Yes never had the issue until we got Pro Maxes. Not a problem with any other iPhones in the house
I already got in contact with Apple Support yesterday - they ran diagnostics and didn't find a fault. After discussions with the senior advisor, they suggested downgrading to the 13.3 public release and then running more diagnostics after. I haven't got round to doing so but downgrading would probably fix the problem anyway...Another update:
called a friend on the iPhone 11 Pro ( IOS 13.3.1 Beta ) NO CASE, selected speaker and he had the echo, while he was still on I switched to the iPad Air 3 ( IOS 13.3.1 Beta ) on the iPhone 11 Pro and NO EHCO.
After the holiday I am going to call Apple Support just to get on record with this problem. Suggest it you are having this problem that you do the same.
kenk
Without going into a long explanation as to why I can’t get into my backup of the old iPhone running 13.3 public I would half to do a new iPhone setup. I’ll just half to wait for another 13.3.x update.I already got in contact with Apple Support yesterday - they ran diagnostics and didn't find a fault. Got my iPhone 11 replaced today. That was a huge waste of time. The issue persists on iOS 13.3.1.
I tested before I left. But there was nothing to be done more, other than wipe, downgrade to 13.3, and test again. I didn’t have that kind of time.John123, didn't you have them call the new phone and test the speaker echo problem before you left the store?
I felt pretty convinced it was a 13.3.1 bug at that point. So I didn’t ask a Genius to come back.Understand the time involved. Did the Apple store say anything more about the new iPhone. I don’t know the name of the test that they did on mine but it was for the speaker and microphone that found the “Receiver” bad on mine. (The small dot on the right at the top of the screen in the notch). Hope you and others get this resolved. We all payed a lot of money for these and they should work.
Tuesday I bought the 11 pro Max got it home & all set up on beta 13.3.1
Just like everyone else my speakers have the same issues. I can't hear, they can't hear me and trying to use an automated system, like Kroger's pharmacy sends me to the floral department! It hears EVERYTHING & more. Too bad I can't take roses for blood pressure! Lol
I did make a new feedback post regarding this. I did call Apple, went through their checklist on the phone. At this time she said I could wait it out or bring it up for a diagnostics test. I have an appointment on Tuesday at 11am.
Question I have for everyone is - since we think it's a software bug - should I still go to the Apple appointment????
