OK just one more time:
Suggest that when you take your phone into the Apple Store, you have the Apple person call your phone, put your phone on speaker so that they can understand the problem. What ever their fix, a replacement phone or a repaired one, have them call that phone with the IOS 13.3 and check. (Just do a New Phone setup for the test) If that works try IOS 13.3.1. (if that is what you want to run and test again by having them call your phone.) Do your restore and Test again. Yes I know it will take some time but Its Your $$$$.

I've been having the trouble too on my 11 Pro Max. Not back in September that I recall. Can't recall when from, but at least 13.3. Did this:
1) Had Apple store run diagnostic. Nothing found
2) Replaced the phone
3) New phone had the same problem even with 13.3.
4) Upgraded to 13.3.1 in order to load my backup
5) Restored my backup
6) Still there

Also:
1) I have Verizon on physical SIM, AT&T in esim.
a) Calls from Verizon or AT&T happen on both
b) Happens with Cell over WiFi not for both carriers
c) Happens with WiFi off
d) Happens with Bluetooth off
e) Happened after network settings reset
f) Happens with volume at 10%

Big Note and Others Please Try: Seems to improve if you hold down the mic on the back by the cameras. Even if you do it for a short period of time, then let your finger off, the improvement seems to hold. Please see if that makes a difference.

I'm having the exact same issue. This issue has started maybe 1 month ago but I can't be certain. I've tried with no case and changing the volume level and it doesn't change at all.

I'm having this issue, too. Recently traded my iPhone 8 plus for iPhone 11 Pro. Love using the speaker phone and had no issue on my 8 (running beta), but family and friends complain about the echo on their phones when I now use the speaker on 11 pro. I did call Apple support and reset network settings. My phone is now running 13.3.1. I will be trying Apple support again. (phone was purchased at an Apple store)

Today - 1/12 Since Apple support had recommended contacting my carrier, I took my phone to my AT&T store. They heard the issue. They replaced my sim card and checked different settings. Took the cover off, etc. Nothing changed. Their suggestion was to wait for the next update (which I hope is soon) and hopefully, that will resolve the issue of the echo on the receiving caller's end.
In the meantime, I'll use my phone without using my speaker - most unfortunate, since I frequently will access information as I am making a call.

Wow. This works.

I am currently waiting on my iPhone 11 Pro to be replaced with this problem. For me though when people would echo on their end, they'd cut out really bad on my end, it was super annoying as I always use speaker phone.

The problem has been resolved with the developer beta of iOS 13.3.1 beta 2. I have tried this and my recipients can confirm it is solved.

Also, I got a message on my Feedback app confirming they made some changes, asking me if the problem was resolved.

I can confirm this beta update fixed my phone! Thanks to all for your help with this frustrating experience. 🤪

This is definitely a symptom of 13.3

A young lady I talk to has a new iPhone 11 and it's unbearable the echo I get from her phone at times. With Beta 3 out I hope the final release is around the corner.

Agree with something that finally fixes such an annoying issue, they need to push something live already!

I can confirm that the 13.3.1 Public Beta build 17D5044a has resolved this issue for me.
Hi - New to apple -my phone states software is 17D50 . How do I tell if its 17D5044a. or get that software. The echo is bad with other iphones but awful when talking to another iphone 11 owner.

I had this issue and was about ready to return my iPhone 11 pro, but I just updated to the latest iOs (13.4) as of 3/27 and it seems to have completely gone away. I really hope it stays this way, because talking on speakerphone is very important for me.

Can anyone else confirm positive news? The issue seems to have gone away for the people I call and I even have an Otterbox Defender case on the phone.

Mine is still doing this on 13.4.1. It’s incredibly annoying. It’s happening on both mine and my wife’s 11 Pro (not max).
