For once, my bank BOA didn't security check me.
I just got charged a couple hours ago for the full amount.
Worked out well actually. I made the original purchase with my debit card (autofill) when I wanted to use my AMEX. After transferring funds to get the transaction to decline, I got an email this morning to correct my payment info. Put in the AMEX and full charge went through for Friday pickup at 9:30am.
I used Safari and had no issues with adding a loan to my Citizen one account.

Mine got charged early morning today for my in store pickup full amount.I know Apple charges your card when it is first shipped if you are having it shipped to home, but does anyone know what happens when you preorder for in store pickup? Is it just charged when you pick up the phone?
I’m only asking because I was just notified that my credit card had fraud and was being issued a new one this week so didn’t want any issues. I’m hoping it’s not really charged until I pick up and can just use my new card.
My card got preauthorized when I preordered with $“0”.It’s usually preauthorized when you order it, right? My order went through. I just don’t want there to be an issue if they try to actually charge it later this week. I was hoping I would be good until I pick up.

You can ADD loans to existing accounts in Safari no problem. However, creating an account for the first time and adding your initial loan in that process does not work. I just went through this over the last week. It's documented elsewhere as well. Switching browser to Chrome solved this to enroll.

I still have the option to cancel. I have a 9/20 in store pickup. My credit card shows a pending transaction of the full amount but it has not been charged yet.

Mine got charged today for in-store pickup on Friday. No notification or confirmation email about the charge.
