iPad When is the iPad 2 jailbreak coming out?

Then I talked it over with my husband, we decided to give it a shot and meet the guy as long as we could do it as safely as possible. And to be quite honest, I thought it was crap too. But it turned out not to be. I'm as shocked as anyone.

This could be real. I'm getting excited for the video. Proof would be proving it is iPad 2, what firmware and showing Cydia working and downloading.

Trolls like these always seem more convincing coming from "girls". And if you can make yourself an older person, a mother/father, even better!

Installous won't work on the iPad 2, so feel free to use this well know app called: "App Store."

Also, if you have time (which you probably won't / your friend won't bring you the laptop / your friend has lost it / the webcam isn't working etc. ) could you record a 5 min video of your iPad 2, which is jailbroken, and upload it to YouTube.

it's sad, the build up to this was so well done. S(he) just dropped the ball at the end.

Had I done this, I would have then shared my 'proof' video, which would segway into this video after she clicks the cydia app :D

Let's say you did got your iPad jail broken. What apps are using since your iPad is free?
 
Didn't mean to leave you all hanging, we ended up going camping Saturday and only got home a couple hours ago. I still have to deal with getting kids bathed and fed before I can do anything else.

It might not be tonight, but I WILL get a video together.

I won't be surprised if Mr (yes, I am sure it's a "he") Codyormoe was the originator of the craigslist post himself. He was prob disappointed with the lack of take-ups on his offer and decided to come to this forum to have some fun. Well, he has painted himself into a corner now. All he can do is try and stretch this out as long as he can by coming out with excuse after excuse for delaying his "video".

That was the irony of it: as I said "I know my name (Steve's) ", but I really didn't as I spelt it incorrectly. :) I was basically pointing out how dumb Codyormoe sounds.
 
TO be honest, I lost caring for the iPad 2 iOS 4.x jb, iOS5 is around the corner and will probably be JB soon anyway.

I think they've been working on a iOS 4.3 jailbreak for the iPad 2, all this time; however, if we're being all conspiratorial, then they've been lying to us, and they've been waiting for iOS 5, as they cba making a 4.3 jailbreak, just then to make a new jailbreak for iOS 5.

Ohhhhh yeah, boom; do you think I'm on to something?

If I had a choice between a 4.3 jailbreak and a iOS 5 non-jailbroken iPad 2, then I'll probably choose the first.

The added feautures on the upcoming IOS still wouldn't even touch that of a JB device

Really? Why? I don't use it, but I know most people jailbreak for that app, which is why Apple hates jailbreaking so much. They might really turn a blind eye to it if installous didn't work...
 
Ok, here it is.....link.

My sons built in web cam apparently records in a format that youtube didn't accept. I finally got it converted and uploaded. It's a bit choppy from time to time but I think I got in everything requested.

I'm well aware it took a while to get this up, but to be honest, it was pretty low on my list of priorities. I know some will find this odd, but I have a life(kids, job, etc) outside internet forums that I actually enjoy living.
