iPad When is the iPad 2 jailbreak coming out?

I texted him and he assured me he could jb an ipad2 on any firmware except 4.3.3. I'm setting up a meet with him, said he can do it with his laptop so we're meeting closer to my house, at a restaurant, out of ghettoville.

If he can do it, I'll gladly give him the $20 he wants, it's what I usually donate per jb anyways.

We're meeting tomorrow, I'll be back with an update then.

If you are, I'd recommend making one stop before you meet this crook, a psychiatrists office!

You might want to have him meet you in the lobby of your local police station to perform the JB otherwise we will all be watching the news LOL.

Geez, I'm not a moron, we'll be meeting in a restaraunt that I go to all the time, in a small town. And I never go anywhere with out my insurance of a hassle free meet....all 6'4" 220lbs of him. He wouldn't let me go with out him anyways.

BTW....I'm not a dude, I'm a dudette.

Anyways the guy hasn't gotten back to me with a concrete time yet, so it might not even happen.

You're a moron for thinking that someone on craigslist charging $20 will jailbreak an iPad 2 for you.

You may not be a moron, but you are making HUGE HUGE HUGE mistake by going to meet this guy. I assure you it is IMPOSSIBLE to jailbreak an iPad 2. This is either a scam where some guy is trying to scam $20 of you, wants to steal your iPad or has much more sinister ideas in mind. I reckon as soon as you hand him the iPad to jailbreak he would take and sprint off with your iPad.
 
May be this guy just wants to flirt around and this so called dudette will easily go out in couple of drinks lmfao. No offense but really girl, try to understand us better. The whole world is waiting for jailbreak and this guy has it? And think logically, if he has it and when nobody has, then why is he not famous on web? Why is he not selling everywhere? Why we haven't heard of him? Be little logical :)
 
I know it's probably bullshiit, more than probably, but what's the problem with finding out 100%? The worst that happens is we(my man and I) end up having dinner out.

I didn't post it here to get insulted, it was just an fyi for others waiting for a jb. That possibly, no matter how far fetched it is, there could be a jb out there. What can I say, I'm an optimist.

Optimist is not the word I'd use. Locally (city of only 50,000), at least once a week people are robbed by scum who want their smartphone and you're going to meet a total stranger while carrying your iPad2. Please tell friends and relatives where you are going as well as all the information you have about this person. The police will be able to use it when neither you or your 'man' come home.
 
Ok, one last time.....meeting IN a restaraunt, close to me, not going alone. Will not be waving the iPad over our heads as we walk in. I didn't even use my cell# to set it up, I used the one my text program on my ipad gave me.

You all make it sound like just leaving the house with an ipad is dangerous. I take mine with me just about everywhere I go, never had a problem. Remind me never to visit where any of you live, sounds terrible.

I seriously don't understand where all the hostility is coming from? I thought it would be interesting to see if this panned out, and if not, oh well. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

This thread has spun out of control, some fools believe that a stranger will jailbreak the ipad2 for twenty bucks, others are talking about food and what not :D
