N, I definitely won't. AT&T is much better in my area, much faster data. Been with AT&T for 6 years and never had a problem, cs service is great, evern after I cancelled my original Cingular line 8 years ago and they over charged my final bill they went ahead and not only credited back the over charge but also my ETF for my troubles without me even asking. Try getting verizon to credit your account for anything.

Verizon Iphone

I have been reading these threads for some time and the one thing that always throws me off and i would like some clearification on it is in all the years that i have had VZW and ATT i have had to call into customer service and dealt with in store people maybe a hand full of times and see no difference in either carrier. Why would customer service sway you in any way on getting a phone on either network?

When customer service acts like they are doing you a favor or you are someone they wish would go away, or actually lie about a problem, that tends to really upset some people (me), when I am paying $120 for service.

I have been with AT&T for over 7 weeks, called twice, about the minutes, billing, etc. Very polite, answered my questions, wanted to know if they could do anything else for me. That kind of company gets my money.

Don't get me wrong, I am not looking for someone to kiss my @ss, just want straight, upfront service. Nothing more or less.

In the future I'd be open to switching I guess. However the idea that VZ is some kind of iPhone utopia has yet to be proven. I've had VZ before and never had a problem with them, but I'm not going anywhere until LTE gets up and running. Once that happens it's a different ball game.

I'm new to AT&T and so far I've been really pleased as well. Everyone I've dealt with has been very helpful and pleasant and haven't had too many dropped calls or anything. Only wish we got better reception in our house...

Even if Verizon got the iPhone exclusively, and would no longer be available from AT&T, I would still rather shoot myself in the head than switch to them.

Verizon will NOT get exclusivity. They might get the iPhone but not exclusively. Worldwide, CMDA technology os dwarfed by GSM, and they won't make a phone that's just CDMA for Verizon.

Yes, for the simple fact that I get 3G with verizon where I live and barely an edge signal with AT&T.

Nope. But I hope tons of people do and free up some AT&T bandwidth.

Besides a few hair-pulling issues that sprout up every now and then, AT&T has been my favorite carrier to use. I've had phone with all 4 major US telcos, and I've had the best experience with them.

Not to mention, you will have to pry the unlimited data from my cold dead hands and I'ld bet my bottom-dollar that there will be a big fat data cap when Big Red finally offers an iPhone.

But please, friends. Jump off of AT&T's network the second you can. More bandwidth for me. :D

And no data and voice at the same time? No way. Biggest deal breaker of all when it comes to V's network. I couldn't imagine having to love with that.

i just switched to ATTin june, so no, not going to VZW for 2 years-

but without a shadow of a doubt, the call drops are ********** insane on ATT for me.

My berry on VZW over the past 3 years had maybe 3 dropped calls TOTAL

my ATT drops easily 1 call per day..

but still love the iphone, and will not pay ETF

AT&T's coverage in the Los Angeles area is pretty strong so I see no reason to switch. I had verizon prior to getting the iPhone 2g and their coverage in my area was not any better. Plus I routinely take my iPhone abroad and bought a microcell, so I'm going to stick with AT&T for a while.

Verizon is not the CDMA company, I think it is going to. Think about it. Verizon is Droid crazy. Sprint has been almost neutral, none of the Droid does stuff. Plus, Sprint just turned a corner and is now gaining subscribers.

Nope. AT&T has better coverage than Verizon in the places I normally travel in, and I need the flexibility of a GSM phone for international travel.

If they have an unlimited data plan for $30 a month like I pay now...I won't pay more to be on Verizon...I have zero issues with ATT
