So this could be the biggest Mac-related event since the iMac with Retina 5K Display's introduction in October 2014.

Is Apple going to give us an all-new Mac mini good enough to make up for the 2014 downgrade and years of neglect? Hex-core processor, upgradable DDR4 RAM in Space Gray and at a reasonable price? Probably not...

Hopefully it can properly drive a pair of 4/5k monitors at 60Hz/+ and I can sell my current iMac and Mini.

Please give us an update on the Mac Pro. I just need to know if I’m wasting my time or if I should keep the faith and hold out a little longer.

I doubt Apple will even mention it. I expect any discussion of the new Mac Pro to be at the WWDC next year and any new Mac Pro to be released between the end of next year to the beginning of 2020.

The Mac Mini is in desperate need of a refresh, os the sooner the better. Our old 2011 mini needs to be replaced for sure. Even iTunes alone is getting too much for it.

It's a bit of a double edged sword. People will cry about it not being refreshed for 5 years or whatever it is and then expect the updated Mini to have 2013 pricing. The new Mini starting at $899...

My iPad air still works fine, but I'm itching for the newest iPad Pro. Would have bought the current model but wanted Face Id to match my iphone.

Also ready to update my trusty MBP classic from 2012. Its been upgraded and modified over the years and handles the latest OS for my needs just fine. But its a computer from 2012 lol. Time for a new iMac!

BREAKING NEWS: 8:30 PM (La Jolla, CA-time) Monday, Oct 1st

We are now Publicly Predicting that AAPL will announce a Single Lens version of the 5.8" OLED iPhone XS for $899, on or before Oct 18th.

We make this prediction based simply upon "Common Sense".

Specifically, it offers AAPL the best option both for moving parts inventory, as well as for "salvaging the reputation" of the iPhone XS.

It's NOT Rocket Science.

The XS Max is out-selling the XS by a factor of at least 4:1, & perhaps as high as 6:1.

If the Single Lens iPhone XS includes 4 GB of DRAM, it will be their Best Seller.

Once the iPhone XR becomes Available for Pre-Order on Oct 19th, then this Option very-likely goes away.

Breaking news... everybody and their brother already knew the Max would outsell the XS because it is similar to the original X. We already basically can surmise that the XR will be the best over all seller. However if the volume of the Max is high and not just in comparison to XS numbers it is a grand slam.

The notch on the Mac mini shall be on top of it though!
Oooh, I like it!

But… why stop there?

I'm sorry if I just took your breath away.

If Apple do release a more capable Mac Mini as some rumours suggest, I think it makes a preview of the Mac Pro more likely so that customers can decide if they should wait, or commit to the Mini.

Apple's not going to update their site twice!

I call the invitations on the 9th with the event on the 16th.

That way their site doesn't have to be updated twice. The Xr needs an update for pre-orders on the 19th.

I was reading this week from a couple of sources saying they weren’t expecting AirPod 2 until late 2019. With that info, I just ordered some refurbed AirPods. I figured I’ll use them for a year until the next ones come out, and hand down the ones I ordered to my daughter.

But now if they come out with the 2nd gens this year, I’ll be a bit bummed.

I’m hoping they announce a really nice MacBook for the general consumer (what’s been rumoured for a while now) also interested to see what they do with the iPad Pro.

Apple really need to step up third game, Microsoft had a small event yesterday and announced some really cool headphones (Surface Headphones) for the first time EVER I’m actually considering buying a Surface product, ie the Surface Headphones. This is what Apple should be doing.
