These are some inspiring quotes from Cook tonight so far

It's an absolutely incredible time to be with Apple. I'm loving every minute of it. Never have I seen the things I can't talk about today. The Juices are flowing. We have some incredible things coming out.

That's a great question, but I'm not going to answer it.

Walt: But what's coming out?

Cook: Some great stuff!

I don't mean to be a dick but if a CEO got up and started saying the product that his company is about to launch was average at best he would get canned on th spot.

I'm sure apple is coming out with something good but reading into anything they say might make you expectations high.

Yup, Tim's "Great Stuff" could just mean Ivy Bridge updates and nothing else or it could mean Retina, upgraded CPU, upgraded GPU, standard SSD and on and on. A CEO hyping what's next means nothing because its part of their job.

True its part of their job but im sure Tim wants to prove Apple is just fine under him. Even if ivy bridge and gpu refresh for imac is all , fine. Idc about retina desktop, esp if only a 7970m powers it there goes gaming

However back to the point. He cant talk anout the future items and he said stuff. Stuff = plural 2+ item coming soon. Why he said whats next week is odd or walt was confused. Wwdc is not next week

Everyone knows that Apple won't release a retina display on Wednesday, jeez.

That's what Tuesday's are for.

Apple Store Australia is certainly online.

BUT selecting iMacs get a white page and the message 'We'll be back..updating'.

Could be?

Not sure, but are you possibly in the iMac section and not the actual store when you're NOT getting the "Updating" message?

UK down too.

Something's a foot, for sure. I think it's TODAY.

This just feels too long to be a maintenance update....

That and this is a worldwide outage. I don't recall but have previous maintenance updates been worldwide?

This should be the thread!

It is a bit misleading to keep making up a new thread each month - as if we haven't been waiting for... well, some have been waiting for a lot longer than May even!
