A friend of a friend who works at Apple said that those times are actually 30 minutes early.
My neighbor’s half brother’s cousin, who knows someone that used to be engaged to someone that did the dry cleaning for a former janitor that worked across the street from Apple told me the same thing. It must be true. Lucky us, we get an extra half hour of sleep.

I’ve bought launch day iPhone 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6s Plus. I’m ready to replace my 6s Plus, but TBH, I’m a little worried Apple is rushing this phone to market. I’m worried there may be some hardware bugs that haven’t even been found yet. Something tells me to wait about six months.

When the iPhone X becomes available for pre-order this Friday, it will be available to purchase in 55 first-wave launch countries and territories around the world. Pre-orders kick off at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time, aka Cupertino time, but because Apple is doing a simultaneous launch, pre-order times will vary by country.

We haven't listed every time zone for every country, such as in Canada, Russia, and the US, so make sure to double check your specific time zone so you're certain you know the exact time that pre-orders will kick off. A time zone converting website is a useful tool for confirming the accurate pre-order time.

The iPhone X is expected to be severely constrained, and rumors have suggested Apple's not going to be able to reach supply/demand balance on the device until the first months of 2018. For that reason, customers hoping to get an iPhone X on launch day will need to place an order right when pre-orders go live, as available supply could sell out within minutes.

So, is it 12:01 or 12:00:01?

Oh, you’re going to order yours at 12.02 AM PST then?

I miss being excited enough to get up at 3 AM for a Steve Jobs keynote!

I don’t get up for the keynotes any more. I can barely even watch the recent ones... :(

Nobody could deliver a keynote like Steve did. Weird coincidence, I’ve literally just been explaining that to the wife, using the iPhone introduction as an example. She was rivited :D

I don't know why but the past 3-4 days destroyed my mood for preordering this smartphone. Now I have to wait for another year, pffff

Just checking if all 34 people(comments) are all interested to get the iPhone X. Sounds like a cricket midnight to me. ROFL! :D

There is about as much excitement over the iPhone X as someone getting a colonic. This overpriced device will sell to the fanbois but thats about it. Amongst my peers group who bought new iPhones every two years for a decade well, they’re still satisfied with her iPhone sevens and pluses And are In no rush to buy $1000+ phone.I think Phil Schiller’s use of the word ‘magical’ has finally run its course.

How can you cancel an Apple Pay order at the last second with face I’d? Don’t you have to look at and face your phone to navigate away from the authorization? Just wondering if it will cause unwanted purchases for people who change their mind at the last minute. At least with Touch ID you can look at your phone without authorizing the purchase.

Owning previous iPhones still means you literally know nothing about the hardware capability for the iPhone X. You’re guessing.

For Australians wondering (as I’d never heard of it) Australian Eastern Time (AET) is referring to the time in New South Wales, Victoria, ACT and Tasmania, which is actually Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) at present (UTC +11). It is not the time in Queensland, which is 1 hour earlier (AEST or UTC +10).

Australia stupidly has 6 time zones on the mainland at present and more on outlying islands and territories.

I found this website useful in helpful to decode the mess: https://www.worldtimezone.com/
Can you stop being so helpful.

Yea, I think you should wait.

Yeah, remember that when people complain that Apple favors the US.
At least not for Eastern Time Zone or Atlantic Time Zone for that matter...
3am and 4am is just screwing with our biological clock where I am wide awake now and debating shall I show up like a zombie at work...
