Yes i use a case from time to time but most often I am naked.I’m assuming this was without a case, yes? Sorry it happened.
All my other phones never reacted like this is the point hero. Pay attnSo your phone hit concrete or some other extremely hard service and dented, makes sense.
Should have kept it in the case. But if you’re cool with it, you do you. Still sucks it happened.Yes i use a case from time to time but most often I am naked.
These beautiful iPhones arent meant to be in a case IMO. I am in the upgrade program as well so have AppleCare+ and trade my phones every yearShould have kept it in the case. But if you’re cool with it, you do you. Still sucks it happened.

A lot.I am paying attention.
How often do you drop phones?
For sure. I hate cases. I understand the risk and have paid for screen replacements and back replacements thru AppleCare. The phone is so much better without a case, with that being said these phones are way softer than any of the past ones.Dang that sucks. I am not sure risk going naked often. Granted, a scuff or scratch on titanium also annoys me. Either way, a drop on concrete is going to usually show some damage.
They are ugly phones to begin with.Unfortunately my new phone slipped out of my pocket getting out of my car and dented. This new aluminum is extremely soft. All good just a battle scar.
The pros aren’t beautiful phones. It cheap looking. Ugly glass square in the back with an oversized camera bump. The are horrible. A case so the best thing for it. Cover it up.These beautiful iPhones arent meant to be in a case IMO. I am in the upgrade program as well so have AppleCare+ and trade my phones every year
Aluminium has always been soft, it is a soft metal. Don't drop it 😁 If you can't help dropping it, make a timber case for it.Unfortunately my new phone slipped out of my pocket getting out of my car and dented. This new aluminum is extremely soft. All good just a battle scar.
Don’t want a scuffed phone? Use a case. It’s not rocket science. And yes, this applies to any iPhone iteration.
Nomadgoods makes a magnetic case back now.Sucks that It happened so soon, but glad it's only a surface wound.
There used to be a company called slip stopper that made some kind of plastic sticker that fit on the back of the iPhones. They were thin & unobtrusive, but gave the phone just enough grip to allow me to feel comfortable going caseless. They must have gone out of business because the last phone I was able to get one for was the 5s. But man, I would buy one again in a heartbeat if they came back in the market.
I used to use invisible shield, and then best skins ever for protective clear films in place of a case. Neither still exists or makes the product,‘though, AFAIK.Sucks that It happened so soon, but glad it's only a surface wound.

What are you talking about? they used the same unibody construction style the MacBook Pros have been using for like 2 decades and no one has complained about the durability of those machines..It's not rocket science, it's material science. The way Apple have built the Pro phones this year mean they're far less durable than before. It's not OP's problem if you don't want to admit it.
