It‘s you who‘s trying (and failing) to do that.
A lot of people have tried to explain to you that the aluminum unibody will very, very probably be more durable than the glass sandwich we had before in the real sense of durable, meaning the phone will still work. You‘re just super hung up on how the phone looks.
Italicise as many words as you like, the fact remains that aluminium as a material is less durable than titanium and stainless steel, and will result in these new phones showing wear and tear much more easily and much sooner than the previous Pro phones.
Now that Apple released aluminium phones, you're clearly just moving the goalposts from being reasonably resistant to wear and tear, to purely just whether the phone works or not.
If you want to make the point that an outer shell that breaks apart more easily might result in less impact going into the glass, at least that's an honest argument. I don't think it's a good design anyway because the previous stainless steel and titanium phones were still fine in that aspect, and the glass is stronger this year anyway, but I get why you would make that point.
But when you start moving goalposts and redefining words that just makes me laugh.
