Greece (Hellas)

Like my name implies from the north of the country. Most of my friends switched to Macs lately, after having brain-washed them for a couple decades.

I just think it's funny that a thread called "how many non-USA mac users?" even has a poll option for USA, and 53 people clicked it! :p

(UK here, by the way)

P.S. Quite a thread revival!

Cologne, Germany here.
Numbers of Macs and iPods spotted in the wild are way up from just a few years back and so is the number of retailers. Personally, I have had quite a dislike of Apple a few years ago but this has changed; at least in respect to their products. I have had a medical issue to sort out the past few months and paid a visit to a radiologist and plastic surgeon. Both had iPhones and MBPs on their expensive desks.
Unfortunately, the hype here is growing as well. When the current iPod lineup was announced last year there was some boulevardesque media coverage by supposedly quality media going so far as to film the actual arrival of the container superfreighter from China in Hamburg harbor. Pathetic imo.

We're sleeping!

Where's all the Canucks! Let's go guys! :p

We're still sleeping here on the Far Wet Coast!
Salt Spring Island, where you will see Mac laptops in the majority at the coffee shops. Every coffee shop in Ganges has a free wifi, and as many islanders don't have/can't get high speed internet at home they surf while drinking their soy chai latte's.

I'm from Mexico (where macs are really taking off lately) but since Mexico is not South America and there's no option for central america . I'm clicking on others!

:apple:

Mexico is not in South America, nor it's in Central America....

Mexico is in North America!!! Ever heard of NAFTA?? NORTH AMERICA Free Trade Agreement?? - Tratado de Libre Comercio de NORTEAmérica???

Another Mexican Apple user here...

Heraklion Crete, Greece.

I invite you all for vacations :) Google for Crete beaches or greek beaches and see ;)

What I said in the other topic:

Born in England. English, Welsh and Polish family. Yeap.

Most are from the UK I see. Imagine how cool "Macintosh OS X" sounds when said in an English accent! *shivers*

I think there should be a secondary poll for what the ancestry is of our members. I'm a good 70% English, the bulk of the rest of it is Scottish and Welsh and I can go hours talking with a posh accent... so I wonder if I qualify for an honourary UK member?

Most MR members are actually from the US. When the poll was first started, it specified non-US respondents only. It's only when it was resurrected that US responses were encouraged.

UK, baby! We are in the lead! Woooo!!!

Although, technically I am half Turkish, but I was born and live in the UK.
