I can't speak for the lack of Antarctic representation, but I did find out on another forum that many folks from the UK don't regularly call themselves "Europeans" that label being reserved for folks from "the continent". But that's just what I hear... I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong!So why is the UK separate from Europe?
