The GetGo (Giant Eagle's gas, a regional grocery store like Winn-Dixie or Stop 'N Shop) down by the marina. Not only do I get discounts for their fuel perks program, but it's 100% gas because the boats' small engines can't deal with the up to 15% ethanol additive. Cheap(er), sometimes free, gas plus more power and better fuel economy.
The GetGo and Giant Eagle here are nowhere near each other, so it sucks when I have fuel perks but am nowhere near GetGo. If I don't have any fuel perks, I'll just go to Sheetz since they're everywhere here in the Pittsburgh area, and there's one right by my house. For those that don't know, Sheetz is a convenience store/fast food restaurant similar to wa-wa on the east coast, mainly in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Dang. What unfortunate area are you in where they aren't together? I think the only Get-Go I've seen all by itself is the one in Lawrenceville right off the 40th street bridge. It's a tiny one though.
I try to go to the same place every time, or at least the same "brand". However, since I always wait until my fuel gauge is on practically past the "E" and the car says I have 0 miles left on my tank, I will usually go to the closest one I can find.
Be careful with that, these days if you run your car out of fuel, you can easily blow up the fuel pump ( the fuel cools the pump ), and those can run from 250-500 dollars for a new one.
I always buy my gas at stations that advertise lower or no amounts of ethanol.
For example, crappy 89 octane super market gas is never going in my 2012 Corvette Grand Sport Convertible, I would not risk damaging a car that expensive with discount gas.

Hmmm. I thought it just wasn't advisable but nothing mechanically wrong would happen to the car. It's a 2013 lease with full warranty, even scheduled ones. But, in any case, I should be more mindful of the gas tank level.

i hate that people drive around looking to save 3 cents/gallon. Even if you fill up 20 gallons that a savings of 60 cents. You probably burned more then that in fuel looking for the "deal".
With or without ethanol?
I know it's none of my business (which, of course, means I'm going to ask anyway)...but I'm wildly curious why you use that somewhat risky fill up strategy?

Haha. I don't really have a real reason. It's how I've always done it. I guess I just don't see the point of putting more gas in when there already is some - but then again, that logic is faulty.
