Pennsylvania born and raised.

It's a hoagie, not a sub... and it's soda, not pop. :p

I live in Coventry, in the UK. We dont really do that much. Built the Peugeot 206 for a few years...Thats about it.

Hammersmith in London, not such an awesome place, but its easy to get around London, and I'm close to school...

I'm from all over the place... I was born in Oregon, moved to Kansas, then Washington, then back to Kansas, then Colorado, then back to Oregon. After that I went away to several different schools in Washington, California, Texas, and Michigan. I just graduated and am now living in Pasadena for hopefully more than 10 years. I'm getting tired of moving.

Living in so many different places (plus traveling to Europe, South America and almost all 50 states) has given me an appreciation for diversity, but has also given me enough knowledge that ignorant people drive me completely nuts.

I am from Utah and go to school at the U right now, but part of my family is in Pennsylvania and I lived there for a while. I can't wait to get out of Utah for good.

May I be the first to represent the great state of NJ! I lived in NJ for the first 23 years of my life (Im 25). Unfortunately, Im currently living in Danville, VA, but hope to move back to NJ ASAP. (as crazy as that sounds :)) What's so special about NJ you ask? Hard to say, there's just something about it, I never can pinpoint exactly why, but I just think the whole state is special :)

This is after a little more than 100 votes (105 to be exact). Interesting that we have a great deal of gaps in the voting spread. Keep them coming!:)

Lots of different places

Well, I'm from Ireland (Cork), live in Hong Kong, and I'm working in Brisbane at the moment.

Since the poll asks "where do you live?" and the thread title is "where do you hail from?", I checked the where we live one, just to represent SA.

Port Pirie, South Australia is where I am. Depending on where you go we have about 15,000 to 17,000 people and are about 2.5 hours from the nearest major city. We're also the home of the world's largest lead smelter.

Here's sunset out the back

Haha...that's true enough. It really doesn't matter to me exactly what you choose, as long as you consider yourself "from" there. :p:)

Adelaide, South Australia, where we I have giant sliver balls.

Fixed! :p

Lucky....you're in wonderful weather frolicking on the beach while I'm stuck, nay, trapped in Fall  hmmp.

Seems like a lot of Britons here, as well as a considerable number of Coloradans. I'm from Denver, and here it is in 1952:

This is forty years before I was born, and Denver most certainly doesn't look like this anymore, nor is this really relevant, but I felt like posting this.

Yes indeed, the Brits do seem to be well represented in this poll. Here are some results thus far:

Thus, it appears that British and Australian/New Zealand forum members have a greater presence on these boards than Canadians and Americans, which appear to be underrepresented in terms of all native English speakers. By far it appears that Eastern Europeans and Asians don't like this poll (or me !).
