Any of you guys checked their twitter? Seems to me like they're "trying" to act clueless and trying to push to blame to amazon.

They keep telling us to contact amazon about how there is no prime shipping or international shipping. But shouldn't they be the ones to contact them on our behalf because it's their item that's listed? This must freaking child's play to them or something.

Like i said there ARE alternative solutions. Like using companies such as shipito or many others.

Yeah its a mess. I of course just bought off amazon cinder 6s black but will take 2 weeks. Here is another tidbit that Cupert dont realise. They probably figured they will save money by having the product manufactured in China... big mistake. They are known to copy, steal ideas and sell it under the table. Cupert already stumbled. And from the alternate links above.. I bet those are exact products but different name. And I doubt they have the funds to pursue them legally. Wait a few and watch the copies flood the market.

Thanks I ordered the 2nd link hugchg one for 19 and prime shipping. If the quality is the same, ill just cancel the $40 cinder one.

Selling on Amazon is not hard. You can either ship it yourself like ebay or mail the items to amazon so they can store it and ship it for you. Cost more because they are taking a percentage out of the sale. They could have build their own site and did it themselves

I bet its the cost factor. Cost more $ to ship international. Thats why they are selling at 40 on the side even though not all backers got their stuff promised to them, even giving away some to build PR. Not good marketing. Word of mouth is king. They are screwing up. If they continue to act like this, the copycat competitors will end up stealing their business.

No working tracking number yet. Cupert doesn't replay on mails since days. They have more to do with Amazon and selling her Cinder at this place. They have no time to take care of their backers who doesn't Receiver their cinders yet.

they've given me (international backer) two tracking numbers, but they still don't work. And I was one of the early bird orders.
Patiently waiting for the CINDER in Canada.

This is a company that has, along the way, numerous times, placed the blame for every failure at every step of the way on someone else. They have accepted literally ZERO responsibility for any of the myriad problems with their product. First it was the packaging supplier's fault, then it was numerous shipper's faults, now it's Amazon's fault? Amazon should just tell them to get bent for blaming Amazon for a product that isn't actually shipping from Amazon, it's obvious that every failure probably actually has been Cupert's fault - no company would have THIS many number of complete, repeated failures which points to the company being the problem.

You notice on Amazon that it's sold and shipped by Cupert and NOT by Amazon? Also notice there is no expedited shipping option, just the crappiest free shipping that won't deliver for 2+ weeks? It's because Cinder on Amazon is effectively vaporware. There is no product on Amazon, and considering they don't even offer an expedited shipping option, they haven't even produced the product - they are trying to sell something through Amazon they don't even have ready to sell. I guarantee you the shipping date slips and you end up getting it much later than the initial Amazon estimate.

Worst accessories company I've *ever* seen. Called it from the beginning, as soon as they were showing deceitful pictures on their site about other companies' protectors that weren't even secured to the phone so they could make theirs look better.

Before they go bankrupt - and they surely will - they should learn one thing - whether its your fault or not, when there's a mistake regarding your product, you suck it up and take responsibility YOURSELF. They haven't done this one single time and they've had the most spectacular number of failures and lies along the way - almost an unrealistic number of failures. Completely dishonest company that actually deserves to fail.

A year from now nobody will have any idea who Cupert was, because they won't be around with how dishonest and unprofessional they are at every single turn.

That makes me wonder how the refund from @charis1113 is going so far.
And this reminds me. Maybe we got two non-working tracking numbers because they don't want to do any refunds, ever. Just say "oh it's already shipped so no refunds. See, you already got a tracking number". Ha we even got two.

I received my second tracking number on the 11th. Supposedly "registered mail". Today is the 25th. 14 days passed. If they really did ship it like they claimed, it should be in Canada already (and therefore shows up in Canada Post). I really wonder what's happening.

When did we pay for it, end of JULY?! It is more than the 30 or even 45 days to file a chargeback with our credit cards or Paypal. So, no need to answer our questions.

Installed it perfectly but the glass must've been messed up because there are air bubbles which just won't go away... It's not adhering... I'll wait a day see if it goes away... Pissed so far

What happens if I open a dispute in PayPal as 'item not received' in such crowdfunding cases?

Do you think Cinder's price will drop in a couple of months like most screen protectors? The vast majority in Amazon appear as originally listed at high prices such as $50 and are now being offered under $15.

I emailed Cinder and asked about the Amazon availability showing delivery in weeks and not available in all colors/sizes and not being prime. The reply was very short and along the lines of "They no have our Amazon yet for Prime but soon!" I think he is saying Amazon didn't receive their product yet for prime shipping?

I'm going to try another company. Anyone try the other companies on Amazon that actually have product and have a curved screen and all that jazz?

If you used a credit card, it might be easier to go directly through them to initiate a chargeback instead.

Does anyone that has gotten a Cinder checked its thickness via a caliper? It seems like there are a lot of screen protectors that have surfaced recently that have similar designs to the Cinder, but they all seem to list different thicknesses. One from aliexpress earlier says its .19mm, but lists a hardness of "over 4h" while the ones on amazon list range from .3 to .4 but all list a hardness of 9h.

Maybe one of the reviewer could do it, they should still have their Cinders.

Guys, I found Cinder!

Guys, put down the pitchforks!

I know they could have handled the customer service better, but they have an excellent product. Aside from IMOS, they are the only real curved full screen cover, and it is made out of Gorilla Glass AND is thinner than IMOS. They essentially have a one of a kind product. That isn't an excuse, but you will not find the same product elsewhere. Yet.

I received mine, as have others. They are shipping. Most CF programs ship in order of payments.

Every time I have emailed them, they have responded. Maybe a little kindness?

I am pretty tolerant of crowdfunding projects. I wasn't at the beginning and was much like you guys, but we have no control over the production and sometimes the seller doesn't either.

Just my 2 cents.

(Getting off of soapbox and shields are now up)
