Is it a G5 or a Mac Pro? Any pictures with the side door off?

I couldn't find it. I think it may be a Mac Pro, because I think it said that in the posting once I clicked on it. IDK why they said PowerMac. It was just one of those funny things to point out. To correct myself, the G5 can take up to 8GB RAM. Unless this thing was completely scrapped and then modified, it's a Mac Pro. On a lighter note, I did see an original (2006) 2.66Ghz quad core Mac Pro with 10GB of RAM... selling for $100. Very good deal.

Quads can accept up to 16 GB of RAM.

thanks for giving a lots of hints, guys. I've always wanted to collect vintage all- in-one Macs like Original one, SE, Classic etc., but e-Bay prices just give me headache. For example $600 for a working Color Classic seems too pricey for my budget.

my 2 cents here: sometimes you can find decent stuff on Low End Mac Swap list, where they offer entire lots for several bucks or completely free.
