Where Would You Like A Apple Retail Store?

apple has a very unfriendly or stiff attitude on the phone, e-mail, and at the campus in cupertino...i found microsoft friendlier

it has some feel of an "artistic" place but it is more like any coporate beaureacratic place, but more so since the artsy image is put on...very pretentious and stifling

if they are going to act that way, let them wear ibm style suits and go coporate instead and be "real" and at least consistent

it reminded me of the movie "gattaca" where you better fit in or else and where narrow is spelled with a capital "N"

but i still like my apple products better than my pc products any day of the week

now i don't know whether the stifling feel was steve jobs, leftover stifle from gil amelio, or just the competitive grind of the silicon valley in general but i am more comfortable with other people in the valley than with the apple employees i have met
 
APPLE IN CANADA!!

In VANCOUVER CANADA!!

Vancouver has a very large digital disign and video industry that is just started and macs are in demand we cant keep them in stock before they are sold (i am a computer sales man at LondonDrugs in vancouver)a apple store is despretly needed here!
 
Apple at CompuSmart

CompuSmart has the best selection of Apple products in Toronto and also has very knowledgeable salespeople who know Apple.

So don't let one bad apple ruin the bunch !! (heh, heh)

MORE IN TEXAS!!!!

HOUSTON, McAllen/Brownsville/South Padre, Corpus Christi, Austin.

There is alot of money to be made by Apple in these cities.

I know alot of people that are eager to buy one, but the availability and support is very limited. By support I mean that you can't just go into any computer store and ask questions that a salesperson can answer like they can with Windows PCs.

It'll all change soon, and Apple will bring it to you... or something like that.
 
King Of Prussia, PA home of the 2nd biggest mall in america. The area is turning heavily yuppie now. The perfect place for Apple to rub elbows with the best of the retail world, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrums, Versace, Hugo Boss.....you get the picture generally a high profile location.

We do need to have Apple stores in Canada. they can't just have stores in the USA if they want to be sucsessful.
 
Apple around the world

I'd like to have some apple stores in the major cities in the following countries:

  • Canada!!
  • Japan
  • England
  • France
  • Spain
  • Germany
  • Russia
  • Mexico
 
i am lucky with the independent apple stores where i live and i am near apple itself but maybe circuit city, costco, and other big giants could put a mini apple store within their store with the same layout and genius bar and all those ideas

...kind of like the wells fargo banks in safeway
 
it is not an Apple Store still is something

Here in Dublin ther will be very soon (next week it seems, they are finishing the shop) an Apple Centre in city centre (just around the corner in St Stephen Green for whoever knows the city), opened through local chain CompuStore, better than nothing....
But since their prices are not always the lowest in the market I just hope they will be fair pricing the Macs! otherwise I'll just continue to buy through the online Apple Store...

Apple Store for me!

I wish they made one right next door to my apartment!Hehehe!.Seriously it has already been stated that NYC is suspiciously missing.I just gotta wonder what the reasoning is?Come on Apple think different,not that different!
 
Houston, Texas!

Houston is the 4th largest city in the USA (i think) and has HUGE potential for customers and ezpecially converts. Houston is the center of compaq computer and apple should put their stores in places that are pc centric so they get new users and more people exposed to macs. Houston is the biggest city (resident-wise) in texas, so why the heck would apple put a store in plano? Houston should really be a city for consideration.
 
Chicago!!

I've heard rumors that they are putting one on Michigan Ave in Chicago and I can't wait until they do!! The only one in the area is up in Schaumburg and thats a pain the rear to get to.

Except for the fact that Houston is so spread out. There is probably a mall in Houston that would make a good candidate but you have to consider the fact that Apple wants to maximize its exposure with these things. If only a tenth of Houston residents have a chance of going to one of Houston's ten malls because they are so spread out, then it isn't probably going to do Houston any good.

I want an Apple Store in the New Brunswick Square Mall, in New Jersey. My school is right next to the mall so it would be perfect for me to get a job there. That would be GREAT! PLus there aren't any computer stores there, except Radio Shack witch hardly counts. I really would like an Apple Store there, they would get a lot of customers! I know a lot of Mac Users around me and the Mall is only 10 minutes away. It would be perfect. All the other Apple Stores in NJ are about 1 and a half hours away from Old Bridge (where I live)
And the other stores coming are like within 30 minutes of each other. I think all of New Jersey would enjoy having an Apple Store in New Brunswick, espesily me!

Yep, since I'm moving to Tacoma I'd like to see one in Microsoft's backyard. ;)

One in Portland would be cool because of the lack of sales tax. :p I'd make the drive.

But I'm very happy for those in India and New York. That's takes about 1.3 billion people out of the "We don't have an apple store" Whiners Club. (Of course only 5% of those are Mac fans) Note: The other 95% people are the market.

Same here! I think i put my vote in earlier for Orlando and I think someone said the same company that did the Apple store in Tampa and Miami is biulding a mall here in August or something. So we might get an Apple store then. Cross your fingers :)

Yes, I agree.... Put one in Seattle. It would be like putting an embassy in Tehran or Bagdhad
