It's in the 80's here today and humid. It's awful.
oh God I hate humid weather! We've had quite a few really hot humid days recently and it's terrible, I find it so hard to get work done. Californian's probably love it because everything in the Sunny States is air conditioned, and we don't have that over here. I enjoy a nice rainy day here and there too, so the UK suits me just fine :p

america might suck but its better than anywhere on earth...
This isn't at all confusing....

You haven't traveled much have you?

In no particular order...

Ireland or the UK for the atmosphere, great people, history and beer. I've never felt as at home traveling as I have in both of those countries.

South of France or Spain for the weather, culture, history, food and drink.

Namibia for the amazing scenery, laid back attitude, food, weather, adventure and nature.

Just as a contrast was 25 in the UK (75 for those of you still using Fahrenheit)

As usual very humid which i hate. I find days like today almost harder than the Arabian desert where it easily reaches 48 (119 Fahrenheit) in the shade.... no shade in the desert though. Hate to think what you are actually exposed to. Its so dry, your body works so efficiently provided you constantly feed it water.

Fortunately, it doesn't get very humid here (a little bit north of LA). Its more like a dry heat, but I'll hate it when hit starts to hit the 90s (supposed to be 92 tomorrow). Good beach weekend out here though. I can't stand the humidity either; I hate feeling like I need to change my shirt every time I walk outside.

Somewhere in south east asia, i love their food. I would say Thailand specifically but it's not the safest place to live right now.

Failing that somewhere mountainous... Switzerland, Austria, Norway (I find their females particularly attractive too), Nepal.. That would be the place to go to chill out!

I'm moving to Germany (from The UK) in July. It will be interesting to see how that goes.

Are you going to take a shot at answering?? :p

I live in Thailand and believe me, all the **** you saw on the TV was VERY VERY over exposed. It wasn’t anywhere near as bad as **** like the BBC and CNN said it was.

I love living there and wouldn’t live anywhere else. I have been to 80 countries (plus) and nowhere comes close to Thailand, the people, the food and the general way of life..............

New Zealand, Ireland, or Germany. Probly New Zealand - scenery kinda like Scotland, but more warm, moderate weather.

...but I dunno, those German girls can be mighty cute, and the language is cool. I had a job offer there like four years ago that paid £25k and turned it down. I hate myself.

"Where would you live if you could live in any country other than your own?"

Why am I not allowed to live in my current country in this hypothetical scenario???

I'm guessing because it's a hypothetical question. If it was literal, he'd have to include the current country of residence because many of us can't afford to move :p

My God - have you any idea how much the majority of British people hate foreigners :D

Wonder what Canadians think of foreigners - privately I mean, do you usually whine about them, or are you generally accepting?

Currently living in the UK so I'd love to live/work in the following places at some point during my life:

1) Tokyo
2) America - Florida or California
3) South Africa - Love the accents there.
4) Australia

Not in any specific order but those countries all hold some appeal to me.

Hundreds of miles out into international waters:

I've always wanted to see a viable seasteading community.

Though there are always exceptions, Canadians are generally accepting of foreigners - at least in the big cities. Toronto and Vancouver are as multicultural as anywhere - some say they are most diverse cities in the world.

Canadians also like to complain, so expect to see 3 or 4 dissenting opinions posted in the next few days.... :)
