For me it has to be America. Mississippi. - I go a few times a year and spend time out in the country (hot country...) with country folk.
I go on my own and stay with friends that are closer than my real family.

Travelled from MS to IL, had a blowout on the way...fun finding some new tyres on a holiday weekend! ;)

I really enjoyed Paradise Island, Bahamas. Lots of food places (especially if you stay in Atlantis). Lots of price gouging though!! So watch out haha.

St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It's 40% protected national park, which means the island isn't saturated with huge resorts and whatnot like a lot of the Caribbean islands.

There were a number of times I went to a beach and we were the only ones on it. Perfect blue green water, hot every single day, gorgeous snorkeling and wildlife trails. The restaurants on the island are also small, homey type establishments with great food and drinks. You're also a ferry ride away from St. Thomas, which is much busier but has great outlet shopping.

We go back as often as we can.
