Where's the "instant on"?

And just to be clear, its basically whats called "sleep" on a windows pc?

I have the i7 cpu and just got it today (don't know if i got the newest lion update) and i'm on wifi

the update didn't "fix" it for me, then again, has apple advertised it for the new macbook air?

Not really, instant on is based on the speed of the cpu paired with the solid state drive caching the data.

It is sleep mode, but instant on is marketed as returning from sleep mode instantaneously
