The 6.5" OLED: this might be a little too big for my jeans $1000
The 5.8" OLED: this looks great $800
The less expensive 6.1" LCD: I have doubts that it will be inferior in other ways like battery life or something but I'd be fine with it if it's $200 less than the 5.8". $600

6.5" or whatever size the premium plus version turns out to be. I went with the 8 Plus due to the narrow screen of the X so this larger offering will hopefully be everything I am hoping it to be.

Initially I was all about getting the 5.8, but I think I'm definitely leaning to the 6.5 now. Not sure I could go to a narrow screen compared to my 8+ not to mention the 6.5 should hopefully have stellar battery life. Just gonna wait and see.

curious what the trade in options will be, as there as millions of people like me who took advantage of the ridiculous iPhone 7 upgrade offers 2 years ago....got a free 7 for trading in my 6. it's been nice not having a device payment for the last 2 years.

if we remember, T-Mobile was first to announce it....then within 48 hours all the other carriers had to change their trade-in offers to match.

Me too! The 6 to 7 upgrade offers were wonderful and was the primary reason I didn’t upgrade when the new ones came out.
If there is something even close to similar to upgrade offered, I’ll probably do it. Otherwise I most likely won’t since my 7+ does all I want and does it quick enough.

Already first impressions

An iPhone 8 manufactured in 2018 lol. Sorry but it’s true. I was interested in the 6.1” LCD until the strong rumours suggested no 3DTouch and no wireless charging, so my interest was pretty much killed off.

Any price predictions? I'm hopeful for 600, 800, 1000 but probably 100-200 more.

I'm thinking of going with the 5.8". The 6.1" seems great but it might just feel a little to big in my pocket.

Still have some time to think things over ;)

Dual SIM whatever. I would prefer a smaller screen though, max 5.5”. Not happening I know.

I am curious too since I have 2 lines who got that promo. I hope they have decent trade In deals.

Yup same here. I was tempted last year but the trade offers were laughable compared to 2016.

I could see them offer trade in offers around 400-500.00. As at those prices they would be offering a trade in value that would pay for 50% of the cost of the new iPhones. I don't think we will see 650 trade in's this year but I could be wrong.

I’m personally opting for the 6.5, but I think 6.1 will be the clear winner because of the price point and it offers face ID. I’m just curious to see if Apple introduces version two of face ID, and if they do, do they give all three iPhones models version two of face ID or just the 6.1 LCD iPhone just version one.

Last year I paid off my Rose Gold 7+, kept it and upgraded to the X. I’m currently with T-Mobile and the promo I received I only pay $5.42 a month ($12.50 credit for 24 months) for my device payment. I’ve never had a device payment that low, so that is definitely (along with the home buying process) making me hold on to my X for another year.

None of them interest me at present, but we’ll see, they need to have the zoomed view option to be of any interest to me.

And it’ll be..

$750 - 6.1”
$900 or $1000 - 5.8”
$1150 or $1250 - 6.5”

IMO
Based on current pricing structure this seems very plausible.
