I so want to take credit, but it's not me being smart. :) It was actually an idea I saw in MR or on a website for iPhone tips.

I just gave that a try. I dig the Contacts, Calendar, Settings look. My iPod can be controlled with the home button anyway. Thanks :)

Only phone and messages, I like to keep it simple. (I would also have ipod there but since I can activate ipod by double-clicking the home button there's no point)

Text / Phone / Safari / iPod / Settings

It's a system that works for me. First page of apps are all the things I generally use/refer to (Mail, Clock, Weather, Calendar, etc.)

Second page are games.

Third page are utilities (cadTouch, Fandango, Urbanspoon, Shazam)

Fourth page is the banished zone. (Stocks :p) I'm too lazy to actually hide it.

Mail, blank icon, blank icon, Phone. Although I also made the icons for Mail and Phone completely transparent so visually I have no dock at all.

Beejive, Messages, Safari, Mail.

why dont you guys post screenshots instead

Waste of bandwidth. :) Reading text once in awhile is good for the brain, and will prove useful in the future when all that's left for most days is solar power (if it's not too hazy to catch the rays) and the archetypal memory of scratching signs in the dust...

What's in my dock is phone, settings, notes, ipod.

I think QwikPwn just allows a jailbreak, whilst not touching the carrier unlock.
I guess Redsn0w is both carrier unlock and jailbreak, or just the unlock by itself. I'm sure someone will provide the correct info, any time now.

I did the jailbreak on my iphone 3g with redsnow without unlock

you dont need to wait for QwikPwn if they both do the same thing

and

Phone,Imeem,Yahoo messenger,Cycorder

I just have three: Phone, Safari, Messages.
I know I don't need Phone in there (I don't use it much, just for incoming calls...I usually just text people), but I like the balance of the colors.

And regarding the Camera icon...I can't bring myself to move that, either. Haha. That, Photos, and Calendar are the only apps left in the spaces they came in. Settings is at the beginning of that row, and those apps will probably stay there as long as I have the phone. The first page is the only one with any real organization, actually. After that I have two pages of 3rd party apps and then a page with the rest of the stock ones I rarely use.
