Its only the non textured area that picks up fingerprints so i think you should be ok.
But yes im liking this orange combo. It’s definitely on the bright side but it bloody works.

Way wider/chubbier in hand. Side to side feels way wider than sheath. Not sure that it really is but something about it is wide.

Ok this got me thinking on another aspect of drop protection, the case itself.
I recently literally just dropped my phone in the Sheath directly onto concrete from waist height. Bottom left back corner. The phone is 100% flawless. The case took a small scuff on the bottom corner and because it's a solid unified polymer through and through, I was able to easily buff the rough burrs out with a dry kitchen sponge and some friction of my thumb. Doesn’t feel or look like it was dropped.
If this had happened to a thick, rigid case like the Beats Rugged, the impact would have permanently chipped the hard plastic and depending would buy a new case.
The Sheath doesn’t look like permanent garbage after its first battle scar.
This increases the width but is thinner than Sheath and less heavy.
Im really liking this Orange Rugged.

You have no way of knowing what would or wouldn’t happen with a case you’ve never owned. The only way to test this would be to drop both cases in a controlled manner onto the same surface.

Fair point on strict laboratory testing. But we don’t need to drop a polycarbonate safety shield(Beats Rugged) to know it scratches and cracks permanently, while a dense unified polymer tool handle(Sheath)bounces back and can be smoothed down.

Uhm, are you by chance mixing up the Beats Rugged with some other case? Because there’s nothing PC about it.

The Beats is constructed with TPU sides and a poly back, like >90% of the premium cases on the market, including the Sheath. An example of a pure poly case would be the old Apple Clear. Even that case is now a poly/TPU combo.
The Sheath does hide damage well due to the already rough texture; smooth cases always show more scuffs and scratches, regardless of the material. But again, there’s nothing magical about Caudabe’s “proprietary polymer”, which is just a marketing term for TPU. Beware the Kool-Aid…

Don’t forget, I’ve dropped my TW on concrete and both the case and phone were spotless afterwards. Some disbelieve that to suit their “the TW has no drop protection” narrative.

Don’t forget, I’ve had multiple Sheaths every year since they started making them (other than this year, where I had only one and it was badly defective).

It's about 1/2mm wider than the Techwoven and less than a 1/2mm thinner than the Techwoven along the sides but it has slightly raised corners like the Phone Rebels.

Beats rugged case just arrived from Amazon US, feels really good, well happy with it for £26 delivered.
One of my other favorite combos. The black (charcoal) TW is perfect with the silver phone.

Fancied using the Enzo again so peeled off the black plateau skin and put on a matte clear one.
Enjoying the change and coupled with the Popsocket Low Pro it's great.
My Enzo has the black coloured metal buttons/plateau ring/logo, would look better with the silver metal option which would complement the Popsocket's metal stand.
