Nomad has the lanyard attachment gap there on their cases. The rugged has it, too. They all have the little gap there.

I was referring to an unintended air gap between the lip and port as seen on the Otterbox Symmetry, Andar Aspen, and others. These are flaws in the design and/or production, not a part of the design like the Nomad. I should have been more clear.
