My iPhone 6s has a Samsung-chip. Can't say I'm disappointed in the battery life. It's still better compared to what my iPhone 6 had, which already was quite well. So I've got nothing to complain about.
Ancient news mi amigo.Click the thread, Geekbench can now tell us
Odd, I just got the update and lack the effort to read all the pages here sorry!Ancient news mi amigo.
You heard about the guy last year that read all the pages here?Odd, I just got the update and lack the effort to read all the pages here sorry!
you mean to make TSMC worse?Wonder if Apple will address it in some form of update.
you mean to make TSMC worse?
there is no way to make samsung one better

Cuz obviously TSMC didn't run at its maximum frequency and that's why it never has over-heat problem
(samsung one began to lower its frequency and thus performance after 10 mins of use. But TSMC one never lower its frequency no matter how long you use it)
Apple can try to raise TSMC's one's frequency to achieve the same battery life as samsung.
But then in this situation, we will find that TSMC is much better than samsung more easily. That's why apple decided to let both chips have the same performance with different battery life.
Every time he sees a Samsung phone he yells "YOU GOT THE BAD PROCESSOR" and roundhouse kicks them. You heard about the guy last year that read all the pages here?
Well they found him in an alley muttering to himself, and spittle dribbling down his chin. Turns out irreversible brain damage. So I say you are lucky to have lacked the effort my friend.
Thanks for the links.Battery results are starting to come into GeekBench3 by chip type. Seems fairly conclusive which chip on average has better battery life.

Bam.Every time he sees a Samsung phone he yells "YOU GOT THE BAD PROCESSOR" and roundhouse kicks them.
With all the returns happening, I have a feeling that Apple is going to do what they did to retina MacBook screens - block the ability to check the manufacturer - after many returned the LG screens for samsungs. Apple could easily do it in the next iOS update by renaming the device or blocking the ability to check the chip - short of ripping it apart and voiding warranty.
Another theory is that Apple originally intended TSMC to make all the A9's (as TSMC made the A8) but when TSMC 16nm yields were doing poorly last year they decided go ahead with Samsung as a backup supplier much later in A9 development - giving them less time to optimize the chip - also the A9 engineers would've much more familiar with TSMC at this point vs Samsung 14nm process. Just a theory...
The problem is Samsung is severely undercutting TSMC prices and we know what happens when Apple has a found a cheaper supplier...
I don't think you realise what this thread is saying, your battery is awful. Those stats are wrong, you are wrong, people with the TSMC iPhone know better than you do.6s Samsung chip what battery gate I love my battery View attachment 591713
