Which color M2 MBA are you getting?

I have a starlight and I’m not liking the color that much. I wish the keyboard back overlay was black like the 14 or else I’d love the silver mba. I’m leaning to getting the midnight.

I must say I’m impressed with the screen brightness and speaker. Unless you’re using equipment to measure brightness it’s hard to tell when viewing sdr. Speaker is also pretty good.

Needless to say longest I’ve held in to a laptop is 3 years so the idea of buying for 5-10 years of ownership and future proofing isn’t a factor. It would be a miracle if I held on to a laptop that long.

I originally got Midnight with my local Apple Store purchase. I really liked the Midnight. However, after returning the M2 to order a bigger BTO, I decided to roll the dice with Starlight and I am very happy with my dice roll. I think the Starlight Mac looks even better than the Midnight. I wasn't really digging the Starlight on the phones or watches I have seen but, for some reason, the Mac Starlight looks very elegant. The subtle gold hue really works for the Mac.

Agree. The M2 in Starlight is the first gold anything I have owned from Apple. (My wife has had gold-toned Apple Watches and iPhones.) The Starlight shade really is subtle and elegant. Really enjoying it so far.

It was a difficult decision but I went with Midnight and shipped my Starlight back to Apple today. Starlight is a nice color and doesn’t show fingerprints, and is easily my second recommendation.

I wish that Apple would just make all their colors available for all products so you can mix and match. Why can't I get an iMac, MBP or MBA, and Watch in, for example, dark blue? And maybe with light blue keyboards? That way, we could have themed matching Apple products if we wanted.

I’ve gone with a space grey 16/512 M2 Air.
The Midnight colour does look nice, but those fingerprints and smudges/smears would probably get on my nerves after a while lol
