Which color XS Max leather case...

I am going to give the forest green a try, I am also tempted by the red, and may pick that up later.
I am debating between a Pitaka or Black Apple leather case for my Xs Max
This is the first time I decided to get an Apple case. I ordered the cape cod blue one.
Imo anything other than saddle brown or black looks bad after a few months. Just ordered the brown for mine.

Ive always gone with the black leather/space grey combo since the iPhone 6. For the iPhone X, I tried out the saddle brown. That patina is just stunning! SB for the iPhone Xs Max for me!
My black Apple leather case for my X still looks pristine. And it’s been dropped a few times since last November.

I wish they would bring back the electric blue. I was ready to switch to that from saddle brown.
I am thinking of getting the Forest Green as well. Green and gold are a great combo.
The only thing keeping me from it is that I usually prefer neutral colors like Saddle Brown or Black. This is the first time I get something "different" but the other side of me also wants to try something new other than the usual colors I get.

I have the Cosmo blue on my X now. I wish they still had it, LOVE IT. Just bought the Cape Cod blue for the Max. I do miss the saddle brown I had on my 7plus.
I bought a mint colored silicone one for the 7 plus and didn't use it but one time. I couldn't stand the feel of the buttons or how it didn't slide into my pocket well. I ended up getting a more water proof case for when I went hot tubbing.

I went with Taupe for my Xs Max Gold. Good combo. If I hadn't done Saddle Brown for my 7 Plus Gold I would have done that. Either are great choices.
I’ve always gone with black or a dark blue to keep the case from changing so drastically as it ages, but this year I’d like to try something different. I’m leaning towards the cape cod blue, which also has a sports loop watch band in the same color if I want the phone and watch to match, or the saddle brown, which lots of people think ages nicely. I’m in the fence about that. My gold XS Max is scheduled for pick-up at an Apple Store, so I’m waiting to decide then and I’ll be able to see them both in person.
I've done Apple Leather for my past 2 iPhones. I drop my phone all the time, still have yet to crack a phone with them. They are good.
I’m still debating on which Apple leather case to get. I’ve had the black one since the 7 Plus and X and need to change. I really like the cape cod but really want one that will flow with the gold Max nicely. That forest green is pretty sexy but not my daily style. Always wanted to try saddle, hmmm.....
