After a bit of deliberation I decided to go with the 6 Plus. I commute into Manhattan each day and would rather use that for work/personal e-mail, reading, watching video, web browsing, etc. then having to bring in my iPad Air as well. Nice to have it all in one compact size.

Also, the better camera, video, and battery life played a part in it along with the other bells and whistles a part of iOS 8. Needless to say, after a few weeks I'll decide whether I want to sell my iPad Air or not. It's essentially turned in to an overpriced radio while I have a record player and a Bose.

iPhone 6. I had the Note 3 and I could fit it in most pockets BUT it was not a good daily driver device. It depends on one's use but I smell returns.

I still have a Note 3 (as well), I'm really glad I only have to carry it 9-5 Mon-Fri, I feel sorry for those on a night out or a summer day out having to lug their behemoth around with them (easier for the girls with a handbag I suppose).

I use my phone to be mostly my phone. I take it with me when I go places because it is portable, when I get home, I don't touch it. When I'm out and about, I use it for driving directions, taking pictures and maybe looking some other things up. Other than that, I don't use my phone much. I have no problem with battery life on my 5, I like the screen size on my 5, I don't do any video capturing, and I don't like big phones. So I chose the 6 although it is a tad bigger than I'd like but that is alright, I'm sure I'll get used to it.

When I was looking for my very first smartphone, the Samsung Note caught my eye. I thought it would be really neat to have the benefits of a phone and a tablet in one package. However, after playing with the note taking features, I had to conclude that it was too small for productivity tasks. In the end, I decided that I would rather have two separate devices than an all-in-one. I went with the iPhone 4S because the size appealed to me, and I was already pleased with the performance of my MacBook.

I pre-ordered the 4.7" model because I still feel the same way about all-in-one devices. If Apple had released a 3.5" or 4" version of the 6, I would have ordered that instead. But since they didn't, I've gone with the smaller of the two available options.

6 plus.

I've always wanted a larger screen iPhone. I also use an LG 3G and I find the size very comfortable. The real estate is beautiful. If I were designing the iPhone I'd say the length between the 6 and the plus would be ultimately perfect. But it doesn't exist right now so I'd rather go larger than smaller. So 6 plus it is...

I saw one in my gym today. Having owned it I know it's size but the Plus is even bigger. It almost looked like the guy was using a 7" tablet.

Gotten remember the title of the Plus, it is still IPHONE not IPHABLET. Not sure why. :)

iP6+ because this would have been a dream device for my techy 15 year old self back in '96 (I used to carry a Discman and Gamgear around everywhere) and of course still is now especially with everything that it does for its size. Sold my rMini for something pocketable. And yes, contrary to popular belief, the iP6+ is very pocketable.

Lol at some referring to the iPhone 6 Plus as the "flagship model." Is the 6 Plus really seen as the 5s and the 6 as the 5c?

6 plus. I like the screen size and battery life. I have big hands, and my galaxy has been very easy for me to use one handed and pocket. The plus is only slightly larger, so the switch shouldn't be a problem.

I spend more time on the phone than using it as a tablet
The iPhone 4.7 works for me.

However I do like the Plus

I chose the iPhone 6.

I'll choose the next plus model when they decide to cut down on the size of the bezel. Hopefully we will get to see that with the 7's.

I picked the 6 for portability.
I love the extra features on the iPhone 6 Plus, and even the extra screen.
I'm very clumsy though, and I'm always on the go as well, so the 6 Plus wouldn't work out for me for times I need it to.

I could also look at it another way and think of it as a "mini tablet" and use the hell out of it for entertainment when I'm home, but I naturally always go to my iMac when I'm home, and my Phone becomes a loner for the rest of the day. So yeah, I chose the iPhone 6, and I'm happy about it.

I MIGHT consider getting the plus size when the "s" model comes out though.

Just folks trying to pick an argument and trying to vincidate their choice.

I think the android crowd is probably loving the insider war between devices.

leaning toward the vanilla 6 (64g either way).
Still havent committed either way. Will go check them out in store and I'll go from there. no rush; still using my 5 and it runs fine.
If the plus fits ok in my jeans pocket ill go with it. if its too big I'll go 6.

No regrets waiting.

i6 64Gig.....the Plus is WAY too big for a phone, besides I already have an iPad
Mini. The i6 is too big also so I kept my i5S in case I don't like the size.

The 6 Plus is definitely too big for a phone, but not many people use their phones strictly for making phone calls anymore.

LOL, that wouldn't be me, I (almost) NEVER take calls on the Note in public, I often just forward incoming calls from the Note to my iPhone and will normally make outgoing calls on a headset or in my office or car.

For me it was easy...

- Better Screen
- Better Camera
- Better Battery

And while I would have preferred a A Galaxy sized screen instead of a Note sized screen, I did prefer the 5.5 size to the 4.7. Easy call for me.

I am getting the iPhone 6 because I believe it has the perfect size for a phone. If I had lots of money I would buy the iPhone 6 Plus as a secondary device, mainly as an iPad replacement.
Everybody has different needs though..

The OIS of the camera isn't reason enough for me to get the plus. The comparison pictures on the Internet don't show any big differences..

6 plus. I'm coming from a Note 3 and I have no issues with fitting the phone anywhere or day to day use. I use my phone for everything and it's definitely because of the screen size. There is nothing against the iPhone 6 4.7 but I am already accustomed to the large screen and cannot see myself without it.

I had been considering switching over to a Galaxy Note ever since they announced the iPhone 5 with it's slightly taller screen, but was on the fence since I have an all Apple house and changing ecosystems would have been a PITA.

With the 6+ now I don't have to. Me like giant phone.
