Which did you choose: iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, and why?

I'm leaning toward the 6. I've had a note 3 before and although I loved using it the size got tiring after a while.

I'll need to play with them both in store before I decide though.

6+ because the 6 seemed like a very weak upgrade from a 5S, plus the battery, screen, camera and add functions made it an easy decision

Same here, leaning towards 6 (but tempted by the 6 plus). I will try them out in the store tomorrow, but there really won't be a lot of time to decide.

I got the iPhone 6 Plus because I wanted something bigger... We are in an era where we talk less on the phone and use digital communication as our source. The only time i'm on the phone is at work, and i'm rarely on the phone at home. I usually send a text, facebook message, or whatsapp message and i'm on my way with the rest of my day.

That's more efficient since having a bigger screen will be better to view it.

I chose the flagship 6, didn't want a statement phone or to be like this guy.

Got the plus because I wanted a noticeably larger/different phone and because I wanted the OIS. I do a LOT of iPhone photography and want to take advantage of every improvement that I possibly can.

Christ the "flagship" thing is getting tired...what a stupid reason to get one vs the other if that's really why some people got one over the other.

Personally I got the 6+ because I use my phone for web browsing as the #1 thing and the bigger screen is going to be better for that. I use LogmeIn to log into my Mac while seeing customers out in the field and again the bigger screen will be better for that. I also like that the battery lasts longer and that it may take better low light pictures due to the OIS.

I realize you can't really go wrong with either, but I'm still having trouble deciding.

The only thing that worries me about the iPhone 6 is its battery life, which Apple claims is only equal to or better than the iPhone 5s. I got terrible battery life with both my iPhone 5 and 5s so this is an area of concern. I am generally in areas with poor signal coverage, but even when I'm not, I can still only manage 4 - 5 hours of usage. Maybe both batteries were just bad, maybe something with my iCloud account was corrupt or there was some other unresolved issue, I don't know, but that was the reality I had.

Clearly the iPhone 6 Plus is the superior model (better battery, better screen, better camera, added landscape functionality, etc), but that all comes at the expense of easier portability and one-handed usability. The Disneyland review over at TechCrunch (http://techcrunch.com/2014/09/17/life-is-tough/)really swayed me towards the iPhone 6 Plus, but I'm still not sure.

Did you not see the other 1.3 million threads on this topic on the first page alone or you trying to see how many "likes" you get?

No.

So you went for the flagship model, huh? :D

6/ 64GB/ Space Gray

The 6+is just too big for my needs and sometimes I have a problem even fitting my 5 into my jeans pockets so I know the 6+ would be too big for that. Thinking the 6 may even be a bit tight but I'll deal with that size. I still use my phone to talk a lot and just prefer the smaller size of the 6.

64gb iPhone 6 in Space Grey. The Plus is just too big for everyday use. I pull my phone out all the time from my pocket. You know how much of a chore that would be? Or let alone do it in a crowded public area? With a bright glowing screen illuminating the whole room.

Unsure how anyone living with the 5s could consider the 6 too small and want the Plus instead. How do you live with the 5s folks????

I don't consider the 6 too small whatsoever. I consider the 6 Plus on the large side, but there's a lot of advantages that come with the larger model (e.g. OIS, increased resolution, better battery life, etc.). It's a tradeoff, but if you can deal with the larger screen size, there are many benefits to doing so.

I went with the 6+, wanted the bigger screen, bigger battery and OIS camera is a bonus.

It was hard to choose, I rarey use the phone to talk 22min in june, 41min in Aug but still a tough choice, im so use to using my earphone mic to talk on my 5s and having a bigger earphone mic might look weird to some... oh wait they didnt change the size of the earphones nm! :p

In the end I dont care what other people think as long as im happy, having played with many phones though I often found a 5" screen size the best.

I got the 6 because I was fine with the size of my 5. I mostly use my phone for talking because when I'm at work I use my laptop and when I'm at home I use my ipad. I don't use my phone like some so it's not super important for it to be my main device. The plus is too big for my needs.

Many people selling off their iPads will soon come to the realization that a 5.5 inch phone does not replace a tablet by any meens. Its in lala land on regards to screen size. Poor portability but great to have a larger screen on the go, but when your at home kicking up your feet on the couch to scroll the web, its just not a suitable replacement for any iPad. I smell a major return rate as well.

Sorry guys but its true

Completely agree. I’ve seen numerous posts about people selling off their iPad which will be a horrible decision (unless they really don’t use the iPad as much). iPads and the iPhone Plus, although alike serve a different purpose.

iPhone 6.

I can barely hold my Galaxy S4 in one hand and use it well, and I heavily value my one handed use.

The Moto X was also 4.7in and it was perfect for one handed, and the 6 is similar dimensions, so I'm pumped!
