The iPhone 6 is the perfect size for me; but since it an inferior phone compare to the flagship - Plus; I just probably go with the 5.5" since it much more improved on the battery, camera and screen resolution and all that for only $100 more! It kind of a no brainer!

I wish Apple would have made them both the same however; then I would go for the 4.7" model - for sure! But that is life! Not sure why Apple when the way of Samsung - bigger size means it has better technology philosophy?

The 6+ was an easy choice for me. First because of screen size and second because of battery life. I need the larger screen because my eyes seem to think they are a couple decades older than they really are. I really don't care that it might look too big. I'm married and have two kids. When I'm not working, I am going from soccer practice to volleyball practice to 5K's to swimming to any other drop off/pick up. On weekends, some of that is in a mini-van. There's really no such thing as looking cool at this point. I am looking forward to not even thinking about the battery during long days away from the home/office.

I'm 80% sure I'm going to go with the 6.

I like the tablet-ness of the 6 Plus, but I run quite a bit and hold the phone in my hand and search for songs on Rdio and it just won't work out for me one handed, and I can just see myself getting tired of the big size.

This exactly. The 4.7" model is the perfect size, especially having come from using a 4" screen for the past two years. My only fear is mediocre battery life. Some reviews have said this is a non issue. Others claim battery life is the same, if not worse, than the 5s. This is why I am considering the 6 Plus.

iPhone plus gold 64, I have bad eyes not to mention I watch a lot of stuff on my phone. oh n it's pretty, shiny n new lol

6+ because looking to replace my iphone 5 and my ipad 3 knife...

One device to Rule them All...

So I got my 6 plus and I'm not sure about the size. For others that have it and like it, can you swipe to go back by putting your right thumb at the left side of the screen when you hold the phone? I can't do that and it seems like a basic function to do one handed.

I got the 6 because it just suits me better. The iPhone 4 (in my opinion (!)) perfect for my hands, even though they are quite big, but I did envy the big, pretty screens on my friends Galaxy S3, 4, 5.

The plus would be too big for me - I have one friend with a note 3 and I found that uncomfortable to hold. Also I'm pretty clumsy and probably would just drop it right away when pulling it out of my pocket.

Iphone 6+ for me because I've been using Note 1 and Note 2 for a while and love the "phablet" form. Never drop the device and I have some serious thumb gymnastic skill. But I gotta admit, iPhone 6+ will be the largest phone I've ever held. Hope it will serve me better than Android ;) ... (no flame war, I love Android too)

IP6 gold 64GB
The 6+ is too big for me. I have an iPad for those times I want a larger screen.

I like the portability and discreetness of the smaller iphone.

I went for the 6+. Mainly for the bigger screen and better battery but I won't complain about the OIS.
I don't wear skin tight clothes and I've got hands like pit shovels so the bigger size doesn't bother me, my iphone 5s feels tiny in my hands.

Word of advise, choose the one you want because of the screen size. The camera differences seem to be negligible so far, even in low light shots. The battery is significantly better 3G talk, whereas browsing isn't that much of a difference.

iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Gold. Yeah. Easier to see. Love the landscape mode. Don't want to carry a tablet. I watch a lot of videos, play games, write emails & texts. Taking the iPhone to use for my camera to Europe in October. Really happy about the long battery life. In a few hours, I will have it!

How do you suppose they would have put a physically larger battery in a smaller body?

iPhone Plus 64 in silver. Gotta say, the screen is magnificent in every aspect, but it'll take a couple days or week to get used to.

Everybody can mark my post here and come back in two months.

The 6 owners will think "i should have gotten the plus because i can do a lot of things with that big ass screen".

The plus owners will think " i thought im going to watch a lot of movies and playing games with this thing, but 90% of the usage actually chatting and soc med and this thing is so big and annoying it's very hard to use with one hand, i should have got the 6 instead damn!!!"

Grass look greener on the other side after a while. The moral story here is nothing is perfect. Everything must have a compromise.

I haven't order yet  but I'm hoping to get IP6 or IP6+ 64GB space grey - because of the big screen and apple pay, again I'm not sure if IP6+ would fit in my pocket nicely

Oh one more thing. I have a note 3. By my experience, the 5.7" is still too small for browsing, game and video consumption. So anyone thinking of selling their ipad and just have the 6+ please think again. On the 6+, your browsing experience is still the same with the 4.7" because most of the sites give you a mobile site version. But not with the ipad with its whole desktop site experience.

I played around with a Note 3 and a HTC One for a few weeks and didn't have a problem with the browsing, it's easy to switch to a full desktop site and for me that was perfectly readable on those.
So far I've only tried a few of my most frequently visited sites on my 6+ but even the most cramped of those with desktop mode have been readable.

I've skimmed a few pages in iBooks as well and tbh, I think I will be able to quite easily live without my iPad now.

Of course it's very early days and these things are subjective, everyones experience will be different when you take into account eyesight and so on.

Desktop site is readable but not comfortable though.

I believe there will be a crazy amount of iPhone 6+ returns. That's all I'm saying. :)

I will be going for the iPhone 6, 64GB, Space Gray.

i hope not i really like the size of IP6 + I'm still hoping it would fit nicely in my pocket

No doubt there will be a lot of returns for both devices as people realise they may have chosen the wrong device for their needs.
It's the same with most product launches, buyers remorse will inevitably set in. Did I but the right size, did I get enough memory, do I prefer a different colour, do I want a better battery and so on and so on.

All I know for certain is I'm one happy customer and my 6+ is staying right here. Apple have finally made a device that doesn't feel too small in my (admittedly somewhat big) hands and I'm happy with that.

Who knows, maybe it will be the right phone for you. :) I'm not saying it won't be. Maybe you're familiar with the size and you're willing to compromise on size to get that extra performance/usability. However, it's evident that most Apple-fans on here has never had any long-time experience with a larger phone, as I believe most are coming from the iPhone 5S. I believe many will be shocked when holding the 6 Plus in their hands.

I had the GS4 for several months and I would not get anything larger than that. The 6 is already a tiny bit taller (although narrower and thinner) than the already large GS4. Now the 6 Plus is HUGE compared to even the 6. I can't see myself using a 5.5" iPhone until the bezels are completely gone. But then again, I wan't to keep my phone in my pocket while going to the gym, while out running, while out mountain biking, or whatever.

All above my opinion of course, yours may differ.
