Dunno as my housemate has the 7 and I'm still on the pleb-tier 5S.

What I can advise is that I love the new home button, whatever setting it may be on. I'm pretty jelly.

1, just a subtle reminder of what I am doing. I tried 3 but the strength of the vibration removed the illusion (for me) of clicking and instead I felt the exact location of the tactic engine rumbling in the phone. To a lesser extent I felt the same way with 2. Even with 1 it sometimes feels like the whole bottom of the phone is a huge button being clicked. Maybe in the 7S Apple will refine it and make the vibration more localized to the circular area of the Home button. A vibration ring beneath it or something like that. One thing for certain is I don't miss the physical button at all. I used to have problems with Siri freaking out due to a little dust or moisture getting beneath the button.

Poll is meaningless because it doesn't take into account whether a case is being used. 2 or 3 may be too strong for some users if they rock their iPhones naked, but just right when inside a case.

I use 3, but for some reason, my 3 is the same as my GF's 2. Either my taptic engine is weak or hers is strong.

That's weird like mine. My 1 is the exact same as my buddies 2.

So basically when I press 1 and 2 they are nearly 100% identical. On my buddies phone his 1 and 2 are easy to tell apart.

Annoying issue but I'm not exchanging.

I've used 3 different phones, and they all have different responsiveness in this regard. Does not say much for quality control and/or consistency.

I’m running level 3 right now on my new iPhone 7. I will have my new iPhone 8 Plus 256Gigger on Tuesday, I will probably run 2 or 3 on that too. Level 1 home button feels like a old worn out home button lol
[doublepost=1567278363][/doublepost]The home button is genius with the iPhone 7/8 series of phones. I was so impressed by it, and still am.

It actually feels like a real home button.

I use a 2. I was using 1 for a bit but it doesn’t feel as much like a button to me. Also 3 doesn’t feel like a button to me as it’s too strong IMO. iPhone 7 here too.

Mine is set at 3. One of the reasons that I bought my 8 recently was that I wanted to experience the haptic home button and honestly I haven't been impressed. I actually prefer the physical home button on my 6s. It just seems to take more effort to press the home button on my 8. I must be the odd person here because everyone else seems to love it.
