Still on a simple 4; sponsored by my company and still in good shape and does everything I need. So they don't change it.

But my private LTE router contract expire in summer and since tethering seems (legally) possible now where I live I will switch that to a 5S

4S. 5S is going to have to really be something special for me to upgrade.

You'll probably end up waiting for the iPhone 6. The "S" line has never been anything other than an evolutionary update. I've heard people say it stands for Sucker because it really isn't that much different from its predecessor.

Wow most people with the latest and greatest.

Still using the 3GS here, does everything I need to do :)

I have a 4S right now, I'll be updating to the 5S.

While I agree with this statement to a degree, I feel like any kinks with the # version are worked out with the #S version.

I went from 3GS -> 4S -> 5.

I regret nothing.

The iPhone 5's LTE capability and the slightly larger screen was definitely worth it. And depending on what changes for the next iPhone, I may or may not be getting it. If it's something drastic, I will. However, if it's not, I'm very content with sticking with my 5.

iphone 5. but I get it from work and will probably have to give it back when I quit at end of month. not sure what new company will give me.

I've had the iPhone 5 since launch day and love it. Probably gonna upgrade to the 5S depending on if I like what it brings to the table.

Based on current poll results, I'm rather surprised that the 5 has the greatest market share by a landslide. I guess the more interesting numbers would include which model people were upgrading from or if it was their first iPhone.

I've just found since going from 3G to 4s, that smartphones now feel pretty mature as devices in their current form, and it's an increasingly tough sell to convince me that I need the newest version. If I want to do something more graphical or processor intensive I'd rather be on a laptop or larger tablet anyway. I guess battery life would end up being the main upgrade allure if they could boast a substantial improvement.

My first iPhone was the 3Gs, then upgraded to 5, last month. The 3Gs is in perfect condition and will keep as a standby phone. From 2002 I had a Nokia 8310 for 7 years , until the iPhone 3GS came along in 2009. Will keep the 5 for the next 3 years at least, so that will make it the 6s or 7.

IP3G> IP3GS> IP4> IP4S> IP5

Each year has always been a major upgrade since the IP3G, the code names really determines if it's a major upgrade or not.

iPhone1,1 - iPhone G1*
iPhone1,2 - iPhone 3G*
iPhone2,1 - iPhone 3GS
iPhone3,1 - iPhone 4
iPhone4,1 - iPhone 4S
iPhone5,1 - iPhone 5

i am still using the iPhone 4S, and just consider about whether should i buy i5, or wait the new iPhone,:D

4s. I will be keeping it until the whatever current iOS is no longer supported. Since getting the iPad Mini, I no longer use my phone for anything other than talking, messaging, music storage/playing and taking pictures. The 4s is still doing all of these things admirably.
