I started with the 4 when white was available on VZW. My Mom inherited it when she wanted to upgrade her dumb phone and I got a 32gb black. The wifi where I hang out is but slow, so now I'm rolling with a 5. Won't need to upgrade again until somebody else on my plan needs another phone.

4S. Tried 5 numerous times. Speed difference was negligible and I couldn't take advantage of the LTE on Sprint at the time. The taller screen is nice but after holding out this long, I might as well wait until the 5S.

My favorite of all time was the 4, however I have had everyone except the 2G, I started with AT&T and the iPhone in 2008 on the 3G

Started with the iPhone 4 back in September 2010, got iPhone 4S Otcober 2011 and now currently on the iPhone 5 which I got March 2013. Currently on a 2 year contract, which sets me up nicely for iPhone 6 and skipping the 5S  from previous experience, I don't find the 'S' upgrade worth it.

Don't laugh but I'm still using an iPhone 3GS and when/if Apple released a phone with a larger screen display then I will upgrade at that time. My last phone was a Galaxy II that broke. I missed the bigger screen on the G2 but I like the iOS smoothness over Android though.

mine is iPhone 5, and my wife is 4S, and just wondering about whether should i change the 5S when it comes out.

4S it's my first iPhone, most likely going to get the 5S when my plan is ready for renewal.

Still rocking the iPhone 4, but may upgrade to a 5s or even try Android/Windows Phone towards the end of the year.

Started with the 4 when it came to Verizon. Later down the line picked up a 4S that I still have but 2 weeks ago I picked up a 5. I was happy with the 4S just wanted 4G so got the 5. I have another upgrade end of June where I will decide between one of the Droids or the 5S or whatever it's called. I am kinda torn between IOS and Droid. I have had the OG Droid, D2, D3, Incredible, Bionic, RAZR, RAZR MAXX and tried the DNA out for 13 days. I will probaly stay with Apple and get the 5S B/C I was looking at getting a tablet and my wife got me a IPad4 for Christmas and I like how they sync together.

I started with the original and still think it was the best looking iPhone so far. When I opened the box I it was (and still is) the most beautiful object I had ever seen. Since then 3G->4->5 (skipped all of the S models so far).

This is the most stupid comment I've ever read on here.

Hehe! If that was the most stupid you have seen on MR, you have gotten off lightly so far!:)

iP5.

I would like to think Apple will skip the allure of profit taking by tacking an S onto a mildly improved phone.

It's time for Apple to shine. Use their ability to innovate & show us, not tell us.

I went 3G > 3GS > Galaxy S3 > 5

The iPhone 5 is much better than the S3 and i don't see myself ever going back to android.

left verizon a couple weeks ago, and i picked up a t-mobile iphone 5 today (6.1.2 and jailbroken). happy with the speeds and the monthly savings.

Updated: I updated my iPhone 3GS(At&t) to a iPhone 5 (T-mobile) today. Yeah baby, yeah baby, yeah...!!!:D
