Safari 4 except when it will not load certain websites. Apple does not work in
Safari 4 but works fine in firefox. Apple is the only site I have found that
Safari 4 will not load. Safari 3 was worse though. I love the zoom feature in
Safari 4.

In the place where you type your post there is a whole column of Safari 4 and
it is nowhere except that column and it is on the left as far left as you go. If
this was not here every line would start with Safari 4. I did not do this on
purpose.

I think I'm back to Safari again. I really enjoyed Firefox but Safari has beat it out once again. It's just missing too many features that i like with safari. Not to mention the slick interface and animations safari has.

safari on mac and chrome on windows. since i'm using safari 4 beta right now i do my banking on camino or minefield.

i've used almost all of them since firefox was originally named phoenix. but i just cannot let go of the user interface of safari. the way you navigate tabs, find text via cmd+F, cmd+G, copy from the activity window or manage bookmarks. safari has always behaved exactly as i wanted a browser to.

Firefox 3.1 Beta 2. Lightning fast with the added bonus of some very heavily used extensions that boost my productivity. I want to use Safari, but there are just some things that I can't do as effectively with it.

Another one for Opera here. Has no one noticed that Opera is the only browser that I have ever come across that enables one to browse the links in a webpage using the 'Shift' and 'Arrow Keys'? For me that is seriously useful.

Also the ability to save sessions, use nicknames and the speed dial function make it a very useful browser IMO.

Safari is OK, but it has rather limited user configurability.

Number 2 browser for me would be Firefox.

browser problems

I have googled for help on this subject have yet to find a cure. I hope someone on this forum can help me.
I use Firefox and Safari as my browers.
I have been having a problem with websites not displaying properly. On sites such as dpreview, Delta Airlines and Avis Auto Rental to name a few, parts of the page will display with some of the text being covered by other text on the page. There are also drop down menus which will not work, as well as items which call for a click of the mouse which will not respond. As recent as yesterday attempting to download "tweetdeck" when I clicked on download a box pops up asking if its OK to install Adobe air. When I try to click on YES it will not respond.
I have tried Opera which works great but does not support 1Password which I depend on greatly.
Any light shed on my problem would be greatly appreciated.
Arnie G

the fact that you have a spelling mistake whilst apparently using a webbrowser that supports spell checking is the dead giveaway :p

lol, I thought a real world example would be nice, guess u dont get the humor with it....:p
