Which MacBook color are you choosing?

Gold, everyone else is going to get the grey one. I like the contrast of the keyboard to the case. Really need to see them in the flesh, but the grey strikes as being a little dull, and the silver as more of the same, so gold it is...

If I end up getting the new MacBook, I will probably opt for silver. It's just classic Apple. I prefer white/white-ish electronics to black/black-ish, and the gold is just tacky. (I have a gold iPhone 5S, but that's different.)

Why is that different?

I'm far from convinced that I'll be buying one of these, but if I do, I guarantee it'll be standard silver aluminum. I don't need to be rubbing the fact that I just bought one of these things in everyone's faces. 😉

Having said that, I bet the gold is a stunner.

That's my issue with the gold, it's not so much about what folks think of me, i just feel that the gold is more a magnet for attention (not in a good way), I don't want to be worried to use the thing. Whereas I don't think the silver and grey will be so much of an issue.

If it was a yellow gold I wouldn't even be considering it. I like that it is very understated, but still very appealing and striking.

The next quandary is what sleeve to buy - whatever colour I get I will definitely have to get a case for when I'm out and about!! 😛😱

Likewise. The space gray does look nice so I would consider that. But then I feel like I would have to get a space gray iPhone and I'm all about the silver/white iPhone. I'd be in a similar situation if I got the gold Macbook.

No more or less than the current silver, there have been numerous threads over the years. Safe to say if your current Mac has no issue then the new ones likely wont.

I like to match the colors of my devices. Or maybe I'm just over thinking it and should just get different colors? For the iPhone, I basically only see myself getting the silver/white. I'm still heavily towards silver for the Macbook but I could see myself getting the other two colors too.
