I like all three honestly. I have a preference in order....
1. gold
2. black
3. silver
It's nice to change up the color a bit.
I've had black laptops, and many silver... but gold? Never. There's something about it that's calling my name. I didn't think I'd like a Gold iPhone, but I do... so I think I'll get the matching MB.

Well there is some truth value there.
I'm normally the Gold guy (Gold iPhone 6/iPad Air 2), but the MacBook looks INCREDIBLE in Space Grey.
Saw the pic and thought, wow I don't recall the Space Grey being that hot. Alas it's quite a bit lighter according to Apple's website.

I want to believeeeeee. I've always found the site to exaggerate colors, especially the gold on the iPhones which is way subtler than it appears online. Hoping in dim light the SG rMB looks real stealthy.
Gold is truly horrible in all forms. I'm pretty certain it will have a lower resell value in the future too.

The only thing about the grey one is in all the pics i've seen, the trackpad looks like a completely different color. And its true of the other two as well. I mean its a completely different material, but on the grey one its much more apparent. Could just be the pics and it isn't that way in person.
I'm also getting the gold one. Like you, I usually use black or space grey Apple products. I had a white 3gs and a white macbook though. I wanna change this time. To be honest, my space grey iphone 6 plus does not look nice to me now after using it for 5 months.
While I don't dislike my space grey iPhone yet, I like it less than I thought I would. I think I'd like it darker black. Now, though, I'd be tempted to order a gold one to match my rMB.
I agree with you. It would be nicer if it were black or just the same colour like the iphone 5. I personally think the space grey on the iPhone 6 plus makes it look cheap. Plus its very thin piece of aluminium enclosure. It's just like a piece of paper. In fact, when I use it, I sometimes hear it wobbles and makes some kind of noise in the back. I don't apply any extra pressure. It's weird.
I'm really excited about getting the Space Gray. The last gray laptop I had was running Windows 95, LOL.
That is a long time ago.
I've never gotten anything gold colored before. However, I think most gold colored things look gaudy (over the top and showy). I think the gold rMB stylish.
