What does that mean?
Gold should be popular with the ladies and Chinese. Gold like yellow is a lucky color in China. When apple first released the gold iPhone there were many asians waiting in lines at every apple store in NYC just for gold ones when apple showed stock online. I'm not being racist just a cultural observer. I think I'm going to get a gold one myself.
Are most people trying to match their macbook to their iphone/ipad or go the opposite? Maybe I'm OCD but I try to keep everything Space Gray.
Who says gold should be popular with the ladies? I'm one but I would never get an Apple product in gold. Just not my taste. Lol.
For me, it's not about matching everything. I just always get black/space gray and have never considered silver or gold.

Any way to get this delivered on friday if you can only order this online? or does online ordering begin on friday and deliver monday earliest? ):
Was there a thread about how these Friday orders would probably not ship until some time the following week? I could be mis-remembering.
Probably that. Apple said it would start shipping on the 10th, so if it's not available in stores on the 10th then your best bet is to order online and get it on Monday/Tuesday.
I want to try one and I had hoped to just go to the A store Friday. I am leaving for a business trip Monday for a week so I can't get home delivery. Has anyone talked to Apple store personnel about having stock this week?
Yes. We were talking about BTO orders. Macs are usually released earlier in the week, like on a Tuesday...which allows BTO orders to be shipped by Friday. But with the rMB being released on a Friday, people doing BTO like myself probably won't see it ship until next Tuesday.
But regular orders should have no problem shipping out on Friday.
