How many buttons are in the Logitech Bluetooth and is it as ergonomically comfortable as the VX Revolution? I have not been able to find one locally that I can play with as I have the VX Revolution. I too am concerned about the extra USB hub? Furthermore performance wise do both work adequately no drop outs in the signal etc..

My friend was very positive about the 470 in terms of performance. My VX Revolution is so comfortable (even moreso than the MX Revolution for my smaller/female hand). I tried the 470....it was comfortable, too, much like the VX Revolution. It was interesting, however; the VX has a more 'textured' feel whereas the 470 is more of a hard plastic all the way around...it didn't bother me, but it might bother others.

I did, by the way, bite the bullet and order the 470 through Amazon. They had the best deal (minus a rebate also) that I could find.

Once I enable 2 finger touch on my trackpad, I very seldom use a mouse. I had a mighty mouse, but just couldn't get use to it. So if need to use a mouse now I use a Logitech bluetooth v270, it doesn't require a USB slot, matches my MBP and works well.

While it looks great, its function took a backseat... "right-click" doesn't always work well, trackball gets clogged, & it really isn't that comfortable.

I think mine lasted a few months tops. It wasn't worth the 2+ hour round trip and having to schedule a 'genius' appointment to just get a replacement

I wouldn't buy any other brand than Logitech for a mouse. If it stops working or has issues I call logitech's toll free number and they send me a new one. They usually have me just scrap the other one or keep it. Simple as that. Nothing like Apple service.

That's just a whole bunch of gamer talks. Yes it might be true that a 2000dpi or 4000dpi mouse is precise, for gaming. But so what. NONE of the Razor muse are ergonomic! And the side buttons are practically unusable (recessed under the top so it's difficult to press). I know, cause I use the Copper Head and Lahesis at my friends house when we game. Don't like it at all. My own gaming mouse is the Logitech G9 (have to tune it down to 2600dpi, full speed 3200dpi too fast). Who needs 2000dpi for web surfing and Word?

For all around use and carrying around I highly recommend the Logitech VX Revolution. Stylish, rubberize grip is comfortable, nice features when install the control center--custom button assignment. Compact yet provides good support for large hand (palm rest), AND it's ergonomic. I use it myself and have yet to find one portable mouse as good.

I like my G500 from Logitech, but I should probably look into a wireless one for my MBP
