Which MPB: 2012 non-retina or 2014/15 retina?

I'm looking at getting a newer MBP to upgrade my Mid-2010 model (15"). The new model is out of the question because I don't want to deal with USB-C. Because I really like the hi-res antiglare screen on my 2010 model, I'm considering getting a top-spec 2012 non-retina model with antiglare screen, with 1GB video ram and USB 3.0. I like that the hard drive, RAM, and battery are changeable on these. However, I'm concerned about buying a laptop that is already 4 years old -- how long will it be supported by OS upgrades, how long will parts be available, etc? So, I'm also considering a 2014 or 2015 retina model. This would mean giving up the DVD drive and ethernet port, but I can probably deal with external options for this. Would love to hear other thoughts and opinions on this. Thanks!

    I'd say the 2015 rMBP.

Better CPU, faster RAM, really quick SSD, much better battery life, great display, really thin, really light, 802.11ac, and sports the new Force Touch trackpad. It's a fabulous machine, it really is.

I'd surely take the retina too. No idea if the screen is more reflective than the 2010, but it does'nt bother me
