Email is fine if everyone you know also has an iPhone and has it set up to check email frequently.

I'm still amazed that video and MMS didn't make it into the 3G. It's considered standard fare on free phones from pretty much every other vendor.

Yep, I would use it. About half my friends have smartphones, but the other half don't and don't access the Internet on their phones, so we've all gotten used to using MMS.

And I agree with the poster who said that the combo of both MMS and copy/paste is tortuous.

While I have gotten used to emailing pictures, I'd still prefer to have MMS. It's a standard feature on pretty much every phone available. Why not just add it?

The last time I sent or received an MMS message was probably more than five years ago, so I don't really miss it as a feature. That said, it would be nice if I had a simple way, besides email, to get a picture to someone else's phone. I would rather have the ability to transfer photos and contacts via BlueTooth than MMS, if it came down to choosing one.

I would.

And all those that say "I don't so why put it in?" Think of it like this: It's better to have and not need, then need and not have.

I don't need to stocks option, but know it's there if I need it.

Eff view my message dot com.

I guess since I'm 18, I get a lot of stupid MMS that I would like to view in a quick and easy way. It's very hard to remember the message code and password and put it in Safari hahaha.

It's obviously not the deal-breaker for me, since I have BOTH of the iPhones...just a feature I would like to see.

I never had a need for MMS yet in over one year of iPhone usage so I see no need for it in the future. This is of course my usage.

I see the garbage that other people get sent on their MMS enabled phones and I am glad I don't have anyone trying to send me that stuff.

Don't really miss MMS but would use it occasionally if it were available. I'd much prefer they added proper bluetooth support first for things such as exchanging contact details at meetings (much more environmentally friendly than swapping business cards!)

Frick em if they don't have email on their phones :p Get with the times. That's like them asking me for a copy of a video on VHS, I don't do that ancient technology :D

But really, I answered no because I would probably still just use email (everyone I know that I would send pics to has email), but it WOULD be nice to have, to receive pics from my friends who don't have email on their phones yet. I certainly DO NOT condone apple not including it, but I can personally live without it.

i don't really mind the absence of MMS, but i do mind not being able to send pictures in SMS, that is really dumb.

i would use it often. My friends always send me them, and I know I'de be capturing funny pictures all the time and sending them out. It's great, it's the natural evolution of texting, and theres no real reason the iPhone can't support it. Not a single reason. Hopefully apple will implement it soon.

I'd definitely use this feature if it was available.

A lot of my friends and family send me picture messages, and on the go- it is a pain to try to view them online with the username and password provided.

Sometimes the www.viewmymessage.com doesn't even work!

Would be a nice feature to see in the future. :D
