i might use it a little bit.. but honestly do you really need to send people pictures, etc.
just put it on facebook, email it, or whatever..

it's not like sending crappy quality pictures to tiny screens on cellphones is by any means necessary.

but really, the iPhone should have it.. but personally i would not use it. just saying

haha pcee :apple:

MMS is dead, just that some people haven't gotten the memo yet.

And for the Flat Earthers, send an email if you need to attach something. And if your friend/family can't access email from their phones, let them look at the picture from their home computer.

Exactly. I'm sure Apple could easily devise a way, so that DRM protected files could not be transferred(and I'd have no problem with that).

Forward lock is already built into the Bluetooth specification. They don't even have to devise one, just implement the stack properly.

Apple patently don't want to give people access to the file system. Fine. Just give them access to the picture folder and vcards and 95% of people's desire for bluetooth is sorted.

i have a list of MMS email addresses for the major phone carriers across the world...hence i just email to their MMS address. my friends just email pics from their phone to my Yahoo! address, which they have saved on their phones, so it get's pushed instantly.

it's not that complicated? i mean, aside from not seeing the picture pop up in chat bubbles i really don't see that much of an issue. but really, most of the people i know don't have picture messaging and gripe about how i shouldn't be sending them pics anyway...but i just do it anyway :D

I think Apple should have included MMS from the start on iPhones. Seems like many people want it, and for those that don't, fair enough, no one forces you to use it. I could care less about the 'Stocks' app, but I don't resent it being there as im sure its useful to some people.

Anyway, I've said it before and i'll say it again. If you want MMS, tell Apple.

If enough people tell them, they'll do it. They don't read their own forums, never mind this one, so bleating on and on about it here is going to achieve nothing. So tell them in the feedback link.

I would be curious to know what your list says for the UK, because most of the major networks have blocked them for over seven years.

'viewmymessage.com' is crap

The AT&T site for viewing photos doesn't work, so this is a particularly ironic thread. I can't see the pic someone sent me (even after typing in the ridiculously long string of symbols and letters); all I see is an error message.

One more thing that just doesn't work with the 3G.
