No worries. If you feel bad about doing it you could just buy the PC The Sims Complete Collection first like I did. You'll be ages looking for the Mac version, unfortunately.

Me too

I've never owned one, but from what I've been told and seen, the G5's seemed to have a clearcut higher-than-average failure rate.

I've always loved PowerPC Macs, but the G5 is definitely my least favorite iteration, design-wise inside and out.

I agree. I loved the design and the look of the PowerMac G4's, they were so cool. And I really liked how you could open the side door and the whole motherboard came down so you could work on it. Made upgrading SO much easier. When the G5 came out I thought it was just about the ugliest thing Apple ever made, it was too "industrial".

I have a 2008 Mac Pro, so I'm kind of stuck with the design. I am used to it now, but I still prefer the G4 looks. :D

Huh?

A good article on Cracked or The Onion has much the same effect for me. :p

Honestly, I know Dropbox would work for both my eMac and MacBook, but the interface just isn't to my taste; I love SkyDrive's look and feel. Plus, the 7 GB of space for free is very handy. (I know you're you're supposed to be able to refer people to DB and get more storage, but I know of literally no-one who would be interested in it anyway.)

I guess I was lucky enough to find my copy at a Goodwill for $10 a year or two ago. Still no luck with SC3000 though. :(

When you say "interface", are you referring to Dropbox's web interface? The oldest OS I have is 10.6, but even on that, Dropbox is basically a folder on my drive which I can access through the Finder. You can add subfolders and drag-n-drop files and folders into and out of it like any other folder.

But if you are referring to the web interface, then yeah, I agree, that does leave something to be desired. But that doesn’t bother me too much, since I usually interact with Dropbox through the Finder and rarely log in online. Although lately I've been tempted to go back to burning CDs/DVDs and transferring files via USB thumb drive, what with the whole NSA dealio.
